Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an almost clear amber with a creamy off-white head. Tart fruity and Bretty nose - quite some cow manure. Medium body, sweet fruit and banana with some dry hops in the finish. A very odd Tripel, but I quite like it. 050111 madmitch76 (24496) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2013

Hazy darkish amber beer, small off white head. Semi dry palate. Sweet malt - typically tripel. Trace of spice. Dry finish. Lacking something and a bit dry.
330 ml bottle at the Molenhof in Oostvleteren. Golden color, large fluffy white head, great lacing. Aroma of black pepper, straw, grass, caramel. Taste is very malty, but also has plenty of hoppy bitterness, peppery flavors, and a very slightly sweet edge. One of the best tripels I have had, certainly a textbook example of the style. fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 20, 2012
Bottle from Bier Tempel, Brussels
Hazy dark amber color, with generous head, compact. Aroma of magnesia, old hops, a bit metallic, sweaty resins. Dry caramel flavor, with good body structure, some presence of Belgian yeast, spicy, some sweetness coming in later, and strong bitterness; light metallic touch, harsh hop resins; chaotic.
Not easy to understand the target.
