Thx! to Seabass for this one. 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. Pours reddish brown, murky, lighter on the sides of the glass like vintage wine, quite weird, maybe due to sediment sinking down. Smells of sweet barrel, wine, wood, chocolate & cherries. Taste is woody, sweet, wine, caramel, chocolate, spices and some cherries. Flat. I was the only one to like this :( Beer5000 (6550) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2012
Sampled from bottle @ HaandBryggeriet Beer Festival 2012. Dark brown body with no head. Distinct aroma of dry fruit, sour berries, vinous and some warming alcohol like red wine. Flavor is sweet malt, acidic berries, dark berries and warming alcohol. Fine body and acidic fruity aftertaste. A bit sharp in flavor, still very pleasant. thewolf (12635) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2012

Bought @ Etre Gourmet.
Pours with a very fat, syrupy pour, practically no head. Aroma is tart, redwine, oak, light strawberry, soft vinegar. Medium to low carbonation, nice dry and very oily mouthfeel. Flavour has tartness yet still maintains some sweetness, caramel, nutty. Lots and lots of red grapes and very tart. Some fat strawberry as well. Very well-balanced IMO.
Draft @ meet the brewer event at CASK. Pours a deep copper, with pretty much no real head to speak of. Tart cherry, strawberry, light sourness, vanilla and quite sweet. Quite enjoyable. Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2012

Sampled from bottle. Pours an almost still, mahogny brown body. A few short-lived beige bubbles on top. Vinous and light vinegary aroma. Some inviting notes of tart berries and tinned dark fruits. Amazing texture. Supersmooth, almost succulent. Fruity flavor reminiscent of berries, grapes, zesty citrus, and tinned dark fruits. Both tart and light vinegar sour. Faint caramel and vanilla. Medium body strengt. Lingering sour-tart fruit finish. A very special one.

16.06.2014, 0,75l bottle @ BBGTC tasting:Scopey (15010) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2011
No head, very oily density. Aroma is slightly sour-ish, sorrel, red berries, caramel malts, oak, toffee. Taste is acidic sour, sorrel, soda powder, oak, mild vinegar, citrus acids, grass, grain, unripe berries. Medium bitterness, nice dry acidic mouthfeel. Nice and interesting.
On tap at CP&K at Alvinne meet the brewer night. It pours cloudy red-brown with no head and no carbonation. The nose is stewed strawberry, wood, menthol and tea leaf. The taste is really smooth and full of tart cherry and strawberry and a little spinach, with a long tart finish. It’s uncomplicated and very drinkable. JMFG (1587) - Florida, USA - JUL 12, 2011
On tap at Redlight. Deep ruby brown color, mostly still pour. Light soured grain aroma. Nice aggressive acetic sourness on the taste, lingers nicely. Solid brune. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - FEB 12, 2012
Draft on tap at Bavarian Lodge (Lisle, IL). Belgian fest rare find. Sweet! Pours a rich ruby hue, glowing rich red and garnet meet some decent haze. A striking deep glow with a decent sized tannish head atop that dies to a decent film, laces pretty well. Aromas are a blending of cherries and strawberries, sour acidity, lemons and touches of vinegar. Rich oak and touches of wine, with healthy wood and earth. A touch of biscuit and sweeter malt shows through but kinda runs into quite the inviting fruity berry essence, in particular strawberry. Initial is medium bodied, perhaps a touch lighter offering some dryness up front, gentle sourness and light acidity mixes with strawberries, cherries, and touches of biscuits. Earth and dryness mix into the fold, gentle lactic presence, rich oaky tannic presence. Not overly dry, but a very earthy appeal with some wine like jabs. Gets a bit more biscuity into the finish, showing some malt base essence. Overall, a gentler version of the Undressed I had previously here, less sour and potent, more gentle but seems fairly complex on the palate, perhaps a bit light on body but I rather enjoyed it. The Monbazillac really adds some interesting elements, in particular the strawberry. Nice beer.
