Small, lacy beige head over red-brown, near opaque ale. Very inviting woody/lactic acid nose, milky, parsley or other garden herbs. Soft sweet-sour, very balanced main flavour; flavours of wood, oak, lactic acid, very mild phenols. Silky soft texture, near-inexistant acidburn, creamy and yet refreshing. Very good! Rodenbach Oud bruin as Rodenbach Classic might have been. To be noted that the basic blending beer, nicknamed Wild Undressed is very nice lactic acid, mellow and yet clear sour, great to drink - but not for sale. In bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a thick light tan head. A lovely sour aroma of lemon, sour-dough, toffee and oak. A very nice Brett character coming through in the flavour also. Bottled (from beerplanet..eu). Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is quite sour wood, mild vinegary notes as well as some roasted malts and mild dark frutiyness as well as some chocolate. Flavour is quite much the same in a very nice balance. As it warms up it also gets some nice berryish notes.

Sampled @ HaandBryggeriet Beer festival 2012. Dark brown body with a small tan head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate, dry fruit, berries, wood and vinegar.
