Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, toffee, dried fruits, quirky yeast, candy, overripe fruits, alcohol, ripe banana, soft spicy notes. Flavour is sweet and a little bitter with some warming booze. Body is full. Hardly suble or balanced, but certainly nice to sip on. surething_ii (1122) - Šenkvice, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 23, 2018
Bottle from Damián Beer and ale
Funny fellow where you don't really feel the alcohol. Has strong fruity character together with grapes. Now when I read the style it makes sense that I felt like I am drinking some prosecco. Rask0lnikov (1609) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 23, 2017
330ml bottle at Stadin Panimo, Helsinki. Pours dark golden yellow colour. Medium size white head. Malty, caramelly, very slightly sour, bit spicy, but grassy, very slightly earthy aroma. Caramelly, malty and spicy beginning. Candy sugar, caramel in the middle. Grass, alcochol, bitterness, sweetness in the end. Bitter alcocholy aftertaste. Thick, bit oliky, silky texture. I dont particulary like the combination of the alcochol and bitterness here. Rather heavy bodied, quite sweet and strong brew. HerrBierkoenig (1708) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 3, 2017

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 Bottle at the brewery after a day of tasting cask beers intended for creating new blends. Cheers to Glenn, the brewer! Strong gusher, foam spouting out of the bottle for a long time after opening; resulted in a very thick, very rocky and pillowy, egg-white, dense head, sitting atop a hazy orangey amberish coloured beer, with fierce champagne-like sparkling throughout. Aroma of melon, strawberry, sweet white wine, soap, overripe nectarines, baker’s yeast, caramel, cognac, bread crust, orange liqueur, honey. Very sweet, peachy and strawberry flavours with light banana interwoven, sourish gooseberry-ish undertone, lots of residual sugars with honeyish effect over a bready, caramelly malt backbone; fizzy carbo (unsurprisingly seen the gushing and fierce visible sparkling), thick mouthfeel made thicker by the sugariness. Lots of yeastiness accentuating the breadiness, spicy phenolic accents, earthy hop bitter accent in the finish with a lot of warming, brandy- and even liqueur-like alcohol. Sweetness sticks a bit in the end. Something must have gone wrong with refermentation here, but still enjoyable as a strong, sweet sipper in a kind of tripel-ish ’Belgian barleywine style’ (think Stille Nacht and the like).

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector
Murky, milky sort of juice orange juice thing, small head.
Aroma is quite bready, yeasty, crust, booze, spice, bruised apricot.
Big body, sort of gritty & thick, warming.
Somewhat sweet - ripe apricots, peach, banana, spice, bread crust, slight earthiness lingers, fair bitterness for style, boozy once again.
Bit odd - sort of too big for its own boots, not much else there. Shark_Pants (781) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 5, 2017
330ml bottle BB Apr 2019. Pours a clear dark amber with nice tight white head. Very muted aromas - a little sweet caramel and a little earthy yeast, but that’s about it. The taste is cloyingly sweet - huge caramel, creaming soda, toast, big alcohol, tangerine and grapefruit. Syrupy mouthfeel, low carbonation, reasonable bitterness. Decent flavours but far too sweet and syrupy. Would’ve been better with higher carbonation and a higher attenuation, which would’ve balanced the sweetness more effectively. hazy dark orange to amber colour, huge, creamy yellowish head; aroma of peach, floral and earthy and wine notes, as well as Belgian yeast; taste is the same with syrupy notes and intensive alcoholic spiciness; good one
