Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, wood, vinegar, grapes, and malt. The flavor is sweet with brettanomyces, malt, caramel, wood, and a bit of vinegar, leading to a dry and tart finish. The body is light.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 2. Clear amber beer, residual white head. Light crisp palate, a little dry. Minerals. Mild lemony sourness. Some generic fruits. Dry finish. Nice mild sour.

Travlr (24759) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 27, 2012
Bottle. Nice deep ruby amber color, tiny head had to be coaxed and only lasted a few seconds. Aroma of port wine, plums, prunes, grapes. Taste is softly sour summer fruit, prunes and plums again, subtle grapefruit and lemon rind. Good complexity. Resembles a really nice unblended lambic of sorts. A winner!

Leighton (21250) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2012
On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours clear, bright gold with a fine, white cream head. Sweaty berries in the nose. Good, tart flavor, faint caramel, a bit of citric lemon acidity. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Crisp finish, more citric lemon burn, tart berries, mild vinegar. Actually some very fresh, biting sourness here. Very, very solid stuff.
