Pours a hazy medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, citrus.

13/03/2016 @home - 33cl bottle Vacas bought for me to WBF2015 (good until end 2014. Orange amber colour with huge head. Nose : freshness is a bit gone already but however bitter hops still available. Taste is very bitter, bit earthy, still nice after all this time. Fruitiness was a bit gone.

Bottle at De Stroopop Zoersel, shared with Mathieu87. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small stable off white head. NOSE: hoppy, very sweet, pine. TASTE: sweet, pine, quite nice beer in general.

Collaboration between one American and two Belgian breweries, with rocky, off-white, sticky, stable head and misty amber colour. Aroma of black pepper, peach, parsley, walnuts, honey, grapefruit, celery salt, fresh ginger, caramel. Fresh citrussy onset, some pineapple but not really sweet, strong carbo, nutty and caramelly malts adorned with a fascinating play of sharp spicy, citrussy, leafy and grassy hops, aromatic and tingling, long and dry, complexely bitter finish. Very good IPA.

Bottled 27/08/14. A hazy brown coloured beer with an off-white head. This is very hoppy almost to the point of being harsh. Belgian yeast and plenty of booze. Pretty fruity in the nose. Good flavours. Hops dominate and possibly don’t work as well as intended.

Vielen Dank an Kölschtrinker. 12+10+10+12

Habanero (4637) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2014
Bottled. Pours clear medium deep golden with a average, creamy, lacing, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, flowers and lemon zest. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and bitter. Mecdium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A very nice brew.

Theydon_Bois (19189) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2013
Bottle at the Kulminator, 26/09/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin off white head formed of bubbles. Nose is caramel malt forward, bitter orange and grapefruit notes.

Bottle from Bierkompass!
Every time I open an Alvinne beer, I expect a strong gusher. This time I wouldn’t have been disappointed, it was just a small gusher, but STILL A FUCKING GUSHER! My dream would come true, when I open a beer from Alvinne that does not gush!!!!!!! But I guess that’ll never happen! Pours murky yellow-brownish with huge soapy head. Smell is fruity-hoppy with lots of belgian yeast. Starts very bitter-hoppy with sourish belgian yeast and a very fizzy carbonation! Goes into a bitter hoppy and belgian yeasty finish!

Bottle. Huge slow gusher, slowly pushing the beer out of the bottle. Pours a murky darker blonde beer with floaties in it and a rocky off white head on top. Aroma has very little to do with an IPA, very yeasty and fruity. Typical Belgian yeast is present all over the aroma, with in the background a very slight hoppyness. Flavor is medium bitter with a sweet, malty backbone and a very yeasty base. Very yeasty and bready. Would not call this an IPA, style stated on RateBeer seems very fitting. Ok brew.. did expect more though from Struise and Pipeworks teaming up to bring Alvinne to new hights.. but did not work properly unfortunately.
