On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours dark ruby with a fine, bubbly head. Big dank fruit nose. Big sour flavor - lip-quivering, in fact - with plenty of cherries and what have you. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tangy fruit finish with some leather, tart berries, light dryness. Very nice stuff. Koelschtrinker (20589) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - DEC 17, 2012

Bottle. A clear, light brown beer topped by a minimal sized off-white hea. The aroma has lots of wood, some chicken farm, rhubarb, berries, grapes and is in general rather vinous. The flavor is much more subdued than the aroma, slighlty vinegar-ish, with some sweetness, and the same rhubarb, berries and wood found in the aroma. Full body, semi-dry on the palate. Well, I like the vinous part of this beer, but overall it’s a bit messy and far from fantastic. 130607 Benzai (15717) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2012
Draught @ Borefts 12. Amber / red-brown color, small sized, fair lacing, decently lasting off-white head. Smell lightly malts, light to moderately yeasty, fruity, red fruits, grapes, apple and winey. Taste also is winey, slightly sourish and some red fruits. Dry finish but the taste lingers for quite some time. Medium body, dry texture, medium carbonation.
