03/07/2015 @home - 50cl bottle from the brewery. Reddish brown colour without head. Aroma is sour, red rruits, wine, wood. Taste is sour, red fruits, wine, some wood, earthy, hint of chocolate at a time. Its straight in your face, honest, complex. Very nice.

Perfect barrel aged sour. Oak hits you in the face and lands in a pleasant bed of sour grapes. Finish is sour candy and a lingering oak aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled draft @ ZBF 2013. Blackish very dark ruby with a beige head only on the sides. Nose is that typical / atypical sour vinegar cacao, chocolate for this one and its variations, some dark fruits as well, wood, wine tannins, Taste is sour, tart chocolate, some vinegar, dark cherries, strong barrel, cacao powder, sour berries and red wine, oodles of barrel in here. Very full b ody for a sour with no carbonation. Way better than the straight up foeder, still very odd but lovely sour stout? Bit hard to call this an Oud Bruin for me.

Draught Small, cream-tan head; dark chestnut-coloured beer. Wood, chocolate, cherries, spirit - indeed a megablend (and succeeded, at that). Sour, dry, faint fruity with obvious cherries, lactic acid, tanninerich. Dry-out effect with a long fruity aftertaste. Excellent. Complex, but also pulling in all different directions - except dull sweet, that is.
