UPDATED: OCT 25, 2014 Bottle. Clear dark brown with thin off white head. Vaguely plasticy and a bit smokey. Ok. Bill Becker (2003) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - SEP 20, 2014
Bought at Liquor Shed.
No foam in the pour, it’s an opaque brownish red colour.
Big sour nose of vinegar, dark fruits, cherries. I’m diving in.
Deliciously sour with everything I’ve already mentioned. I yearn for another sip.
Despite the lack of foam, there’s a nice level of carbonation.
Simply excellent! nealblind (2007) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - SEP 1, 2014
Brown pour some creamy head. Aroma leather, acid, hay , wheat, funk. Tastes big apple cider vinegar. Funk, not enough smooth yeastiness and a bit too much acidity. Slight BBQ flavor. RW80 (2900) - Hoogeveen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 17, 2014

medium body, lively carbonation.
Nice but lacks complexity that some of the other beers in this style have. Yves (3169) - Turnhout, BELGIUM - AUG 10, 2014

Het slechtste bier dat ik van Alvinne geprobeerd heb, echt een tegenvaller van formaat Palme (4856) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2014
0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a deep dark brown one with a small big bubbly kinda brown sidesticking and islandy top. Not to extreme on the aroma but I get a spicy burned nutmeg thing here and a trace of something almost grassy sour. The aroma opens up after a while in the glass and I get tones of licorice and dark malts. Really sharp acidic lime sourness in the taste. It has a soft carbonation level and a light oily mouthfeel. Sour red dark currants, dark malts, some red wine vinegar and it’s leaving a quite dry tongue. Fair stuff. 08.06.2013 Finn (8305) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 4, 2014

On tap @ Borefts 2013. A pretty nice looking deep blurry warming red brown one with a tiny sidesticking beige top. The nose is not to extreme, but more mellow. Light sweet red berries with plums and hints of woody vinegar I’m the back. It’s lively on the carbonation, not disturbing though and light oily in the mouth. Nice mellow sour flavors some watered down sourness, a little woody thing found here. As is red wet berries and a hint of champagne. Quite easy to drink and definitely tasty. Could drink this again any day. 28.09.2013
Flaske 0,33l på Vertshuset Skarven 29 Mai 14. Ekstremt dyp rødbrun. Lavt skum langs glasset. Syrlig fruktaroma. Smaken sammensatt av ulik frukt. Stikkelsbær. Beholder det syrlige preget og avslutter litt tørt. Ekstremt mye bunnfall. Vighals (4542) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - MAY 25, 2014
