Murky dark brown with a fast-evaporating tan head. Lovely sour and woody aroma with some brown malt tones and a bit of tart fruit. Delightful tart and brown malty flavor with a lovely lacto and woody tone with some delightful Belgian sour dark brown tones. Really hard to describe but layered and tart and malty and complex.

Pours a clear, deep reddish brown with a lacy off-white head. Medium-light body and medium carbonation. Aroma of vinegar and cherries. Sweet-tart cherry taste leading to a dry finish.

Icedwarf (1657) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - MAR 21, 2016
Roodbruin bier zonder schuim. Smaak is erg zuur en niet echt bijzonder. Mogelijk dat een liefhebber dit meer waardeert, ik echter heb liever iets minder zuur bier.

seynie (408) - Tienen, BELGIUM - FEB 18, 2016
Red brown without foam head. No carbonation, flat. Sour and a bit sticky, some cherries and lemon. Citric finish

sjogro (4143) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - FEB 12, 2016
At Maakun’s. Bottle shared by Maakun. Clear dark brown. Balsamico, wet old wood, grape pits, woodglue. Strong sour. Medium body, very light carbonation. Nice but a bit overwhelming sourness, woodiness and little else.

Maakun (5561) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - FEB 12, 2016
Bottle shared at home. Deep reddish brown with barely any head. Lots of sour berries, blackcurrant, light oxidized notes, soft dry herbs, overripe fruits. Mostly a lot of sour fruits, with some dry chalky notes and a bit of flour. Over medium sour, with very light bitter. Medium bodied with puckering feel and soft carbonation.

BRW (2781) - Barcelona, SPAIN - OCT 30, 2015
On tap at La mes petita. Brown colour with beige head. Wine, fruity aroma. Sweet, wine, acidic, fruity, sour. Medium body.

EvanFriend (594) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 4, 2015
Vinegar is the dominant flavor note, sour cherry flavor there as well, a bit of lemon. Dances on the tongue with a sensation you don’t usually get from beer. I wouldn’t want this every day, but it’s interesting.

nearbeer (5419) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 29, 2015
33 cl. Darkish brown and foggy with a lasting thin film of cream. Nose is tart berry, dry cocoa and molasses. Flavors of lightly tart cherry, raspberry, oak and touches of soy, cream and brown sugar. Spicy dark grape must, toasted walnut and dry cocoa in the finish. Medium body has a smooth medium carbonation and a very drinkable balance.

Ok. 11/10/9/10/7/10
