Bottle shared at home. Deep reddish brown with barely any head. Lots of sour berries, blackcurrant, light oxidized notes, soft dry herbs, overripe fruits. Mostly a lot of sour fruits, with some dry chalky notes and a bit of flour. Over medium sour, with very light bitter. Medium bodied with puckering feel and soft carbonation.

On tap at La mes petita. Brown colour with beige head. Wine, fruity aroma. Sweet, wine, acidic, fruity, sour. Medium body.

Vinegar is the dominant flavor note, sour cherry flavor there as well, a bit of lemon. Dances on the tongue with a sensation you don’t usually get from beer. I wouldn’t want this every day, but it’s interesting.

33 cl. Darkish brown and foggy with a lasting thin film of cream. Nose is tart berry, dry cocoa and molasses. Flavors of lightly tart cherry, raspberry, oak and touches of soy, cream and brown sugar. Spicy dark grape must, toasted walnut and dry cocoa in the finish. Medium body has a smooth medium carbonation and a very drinkable balance.

Der säuerliche Malzantrunk ist wenig aromatisch. Wenig holzig, leider schnell wässrig werdend. Nuancen von Kirsche, was vor allem im Nachgeschmack mit der etwas festeren Säure gefällt. Ok. 11/10/9/10/7/10

Was hoping this was an unblended lambic, but unfortunately I got a wild red instead. Completely flat and a very dry champaigne-like flavor.

Bottled@Tuulensuu (old backlog). Reddish brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sour wood, some caramel, mild fruits, yeast, a bit spices as well as some slight berries as well. Flavour is sour and tart wood, with some mild malty sweetness as well as some yeast, cherries and mild spiced notes to it. Wellbalanced, and quite mouthdrying palate.

Thanks to grownfool for this one. Brown, murky, with a ring of foam. Smells really winey, plus some oaky notes. Taste is also pretty winey, plus some subtle fruity notes. Very tasty.

Bottle. Pours dark brown, hazy, with no head or lace. No carbonation, light body. Taste is more into the sour side with berries, some caramel. Sour aftertaste.
