330 ml. bottle @ Beerlovers Bar. Expensive but ultimately worth it I think. Hazy orange, brief bubbles but ultimately no head. Nose is massive sour red fruit, heavy sour red fruits, barrel vinous, low vinegar, puckering band-aid. Taste is wonderful unique sour red fruit vinous barrel taste, puckering pleasant plastic,... Sauternes profile is ultimately a bit lost in here but the sour profile is really good with low vinegar yoghurt,... Sour plastic, low carbonation, thicker vinegar body. Very tasty.

330 ml bottle, shared by Werckmeister, many thanks. Pours clear dark golden with hardly any head. Lots of tartness in the aroma, tart berries, wine barrels. Medium body with nearly no carbonation, a medium to heavy sourness. The sourness decreases with time and leads to a lightly bitter, dry finish. Flavor of citric fruits/acidity, red currant, sour berries, white wine, wood.

0,33l bottle at home shared with Powy. BB orange clear color, small white head. smells musty, grassy, light funk, wood, bit nutty. quite like the smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes nutty, wood, grassy, bit citric, barnyard. finishes light to medium sour with notes of grass, barnyard and peppery notes. nice one overall has a bit of a stinging plastic taste on the finish though. overall rather nice one but just a tad too sour overall.

Piana niska, szybko znika do zera. Barwa złota, klarowna. W aromacie ewidentnie białe wino, jasne winogrona, cytryna, stara beczka... Wysycenie niskie do średniego, drobniutkie.
Bardzo delikatne, wykwintne w odbiorze piwo, prezentujące wysoki poziom jak każde z serii Wild West...

Draft 0.15l at Foeders Amsterdam, The Netherlands.30.03.2017. Taste with kermis. Pour it hazy orange color with no head. Aroma nice fruity sourness with some salty kick. Taste starts with woody, tart, kick of sourness on the back of your throat, heavily sour finish, acidic, medium body, sweet on the begin, woody notes, slick feel, average carbonation, astringent finish.

Heavenly aroma with slightly decomposing, rotting grape peel and sour. De taste is sour as f... but still, there is a complexity that surprises me. Sour, Grapes and a puckering mouthfeel. Very nice!

Thnx to eric. Pours rather unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is rich, oaky, full taste is sharp, full, dry, sour, very oaky, intense, low carbo. Bog mf . Very nice . Not very recognizable as sauterne, but a really nice beer nevettheless.

Draught at Foeders in Amsterdam (two days after their Alvinne tap takeover). One of the countless Alvinne sours aged in barrels, in this case sweet Sauternes wine. Snow white, lacing, moussy head over a hazy peach blonde beer with ochre-ish hue. Attractive and complex bouquet of white grapes, orange zest, stale sweat, fermenting hay, oloroso sherry, wet wood, overripe apples, gooseberries, white raspberries, sourdough. Fruity, very estery onset, lots of gooseberry and green plum tartness with a sweeter grape- and peach-like core, rather fizzy carbo but still smooth, supple mouthfeel, bready background supporting a gently but adequately drying tartness all the way through, with yoghurty lactic aspects in the middle and added tannic woodiness in the finish, where it becomes more vinous and eventually very ’grapey’ and white wine-like, with some warming alcohol accentuating these flavors rather than disturbing them. Mildly funky, tart rather than acidic, complex sipper, very accomplished in my book and among the better Alvinnes I had in a while.

On tap at Sur og Bitter Beer Festival, Sandnes. Pours hazy amber with little off-white head. Aroma of horse stable, acetic acid, nuts, vanilla, grass. Taste sour with balancing sweetness. Slightly smooth mouth feel.
