SlackerMads (3583) - DENMARK - OCT 28, 2017
Bottle. My first braggot, I believe. Hazy copper with a medium sized diminishing white head with good lace and regeneration. Pleasant floral nose with honey, citrus and hay. The flavour has hay, wood, honey, dry flowers, minerals. Full body, warming alcohol, medium sweet and bitter. Warming finish with rye and honey. I am unsure about what to feel about this, but it is not all bad and the honey shows a lot. Pinball (12598) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2017
bottle from boxbeers.
hazy yellow, small white head.
aroma of malts, honey, tea, a little bit of a herbal touch.
flavor is malty, herbal, "bitter honey" if that makes any sense at all, faint sweet yellow fruits, like a belgian triple. flavor is somewhat confusing to me, i think it might resemble a strong belgian ale more than anything else i know about. Beer has lots of flavor, the alc. is quite well hidden, i had expected 5.6% or so when i tasted it, and was somewhat surprised to see it tagged as 9% here. In my world, that is a sign of good brewing craftmanship ( and interestingly confusing unexpected hangovers)
