Draught at OMBF, September 2017. Lots of sharp roast, heavy sweetness, tart coffee, smooth oatmeal, very malty. A ceremony of opposites that just don't stick together. I'll be against the grain on this one, a beer that makes a haphazard, randomly composed impression. luttonm (7091) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 26, 2018
Hop and Hound, Bothell. Very cool treat to find on a random weekday afternoon. Deep brown-black pour with a thin and lacing tan ring. Deep roast and nutty aroma. Sip is so European, lovely old world character. Fantastic dry and bitter body. Big, robust and so dry. Not much like this in the states. Really doesn’t have the feeling of a 10.7% stout, which is a compliment. Dark chocolate and espresso bean. This is special. neongolden (2081) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 3, 2018
(500ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop) Pours black with a small, fine and stable dark tan head and lots of lace. Aroma of caramel, acidic roasted malt, moderate coffee that's a little earthy but kind of bright and fruity, toasted nuts, hints of chocolate. Flavour has a little more depth but is still dominated by kind of bright, fruity caramel notes, coffee is lightly earthy, quite fruity as well, and moderately toasty. The back end is drier and roastier though not to the degree of the Amager component, with notes of spent coffee, cacao, earth, black pepper and ash. A bit on the light side of medium bodied, with slightly above average carb, light alcohol. A bit of a puzzle, this feels less rich than either of the components to the blend, especially Brunch. It's quite solid, but I'd take a Brunch any day. SudsMcDuff (8552) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - DEC 24, 2017
500ml bottle .. dark .. medium foam .. ash, burnt dark chocolate from under a truck, light metal roast, twisted burnt toast .. mouth is medium grade, mildly bitter .. pretty good, hides the abv very well, my bottle was at least 2 years aged, did well but i am sure fresh is way better .. . . betta talk to em! 50 cl. bottle at Amager Bryghus. Low but lasting creamy light brown head. Pitch black body. Cocoa coffee aroma with notes of the alcohol. Sweet and creamy roasted malt cocoa coffee caramel flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish. Very pleasant full bodied with a nice mouthfeel, well balanced with an alcohol level that is nicely disguised.

Tap at CBFZ 2017, served way too cold... Pours black with a beige foam. Aroma is booze, coffee, liquorice, chocolate. Body is heavy and sweet, strong roasted malts, bitter and intense with coffee and liquorice flavours. Far away from the milk/chocolate/sugar side. Lingering roast palate. Very good. OMBF. Jedno z największych rozczarowań. Aromat trochę jak w bałtykach - owoce i pumpernikiel, trochę męczący i rozczarowujący. Dużo melasy w ustach, jest też kawa i czeko, ale trochę wodniste jak dla mnie. Brakuje goryczki ktora by tę słodycz skontrowała. Nie podeszło. heman (1316) - Tychy, POLAND - SEP 7, 2017
One More Beer Festival 2017. Aromat silnie słodowy: melasa, pumpernikiel, kawa, gorzka czekolada. W smaku pełne i gęste. Kawa nieco ziarnista, melasa, karmel, czekolada i nuty palone.
