COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Here on Amager island we are as blessed with Amager Fælled (Amager Common), a beautiful piece of nature with fantastic animal and bird life. Actually, there is no other place in Europe where there are such large open spaces near such a big city, now a subway even takes you almost directly into the bird’s song. Amager Common has a history as both a place of execution and for the testing of military weapons, but nowadays you hardly meet anything more controversial than joggers, birdwatchers and little children in shorts.
When you visit this rustic paradise, do it like this golden ale from Amager Brewery by bicycle or subway tunnel. With its clean malt sweetness and its gentle and floral hop tones it is the beer created to quench the thirst out here in Amager’s free and beautiful scenery.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, honey, elderflower, hops and yeast

Expired bottle from de Caigny in Essen, Belgium. The beer is hazy yellow to golden colored and has a small and unstable white head, with average carbonation. The aroma is very malty, with notes of caramel, honey, grass, grains, flowers and a little citrus. The taste is malty and light sweet with a light to medium body with clear notes of honey and caramel, and goes to a light bitterness with flowers, fresh hops, grass and a little citrus. The finish is light bitter and dry, and the honey is long noticable.

From Boxbeers. In Teku glass. Watching Vaiana. Boring, flat, just some grassy and flowerly notes and even a bit on rancidness, but not enough to completely spoil the experience

PapaVillum (955) - Valby, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2017
50 cl, flaske, 4.6 % ABV, batch#1349, BB: 06/2017, købt i Meny i Rotunden i Hellerup. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. 4.5%. Best before 10.16. Pours a hazy straw yellow, with a white head. Decent lacing. Sweetish, flowery, citrus hop aroma, with a light metallic overtone. Feels fresh. Hint of honey as it warms. Citrus hop flavour, a bit fruity and flowery, with a hint of malt in the background. Remote hint of yeast as it warms. Mildly bitter, hoppy finish with a lingering dry note. Feels a wee bit watery. Overall good. 21.05.16.
