COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Ingredienser: Vand. Bygmalt: Pilsner, Munich, Melanoidin. Humle: Herkules, Amarillo, Chinook, Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, Sorachi, Centennial. Gær. US-ale

English: A great deal of beer has run through our fermentation tanks since Amager Bryghus opened in April 2007. There are more tanks now, and more of US – and, admittedly, there is a bit more of EACH of us as well. But that is just an indication that we are doing well and working hard at sampling beer for you!
Now we have brewed and sampled our way to Batch #1.000, and we want to celebrate that with a beer of a type we know many of you love dearly: a juicy, American inspired IPA, dripping with hops.
There are hops everywhere in Batch #1.000 – one kind during the mashing and the boil, two others in the whirlpool, and finally three more added during both the first and second dry hopping.
Thank you for your support through all the years we’ve spent in Tårnby’s concrete Hell. We would not be here today, if it wasn’t for you.

Thomatito (130) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 24, 2017
0,5l bottle. Nose: caramel malts, floral hops. Taste: sticky sweet maltiness, floral bouquet, piny bitterness. Had it once before and it was remarkably better then. Maybe an old bottle or not stored properly in the shop?

500 ml. No bottling date evident. Hazy orange-amber with a thin but lasting disc of cream. Nose of resin, pineapple, orange, papaya and caramel. Tastes of toffee, evergreen resin, papaya and dank herb. A bit of garlic, pithy wood and citrus zest in the finish. Near-medium body has a very drinkable balance and a smooth medium carbonation.

drpimento (3640) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - APR 29, 2017
Not bad but not great either. Not old but not fresh. Hops have a nice spicy quality but that’s the best you can say.

Lore (2746) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 28, 2017
hazy golden to orange colour, large, dense slightly yellowish off-white head; aroma of pine resin, orange peel oils, overripe, almost rotten mango and other tropical fruits, slight biscuity and apricot notes; taste of intensive hoppy bitterness, which is perfectly balanced by the malty backbone (even an IIPA could be proud of this!) and the marmalade, overripe mango, pine resin, biscuit and tangerine notes; amazing IPA!
