COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We have striven and struggled, we have cursed and sworn and we have snarled and yelled. But dammit did we also have a good time since we boiled up the first brew at Amager Bryghus one early morning back in April 2007. A lot of beer has been through our tanks since then to now reach Batch 500. With this East Coast IPA we simply believe to have cracked the code and found the cash cow that will make us millionaires when we sell out to the multinationals. Batch 500 is a beer so pleasantly balancing between the lightly sweet malt and fruitiness and a rather complex hop profile that we’re sure that even the brewer’s non beerdrinking wife will have to surrender. THAT will be the ultimate test… Enjoy!

500 ml bottle. Slightly cloudy golden body with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma is strong citric, pine and tropical fruit with some caramel. Flavour is sweet malt, some caramel and lots of American hops like citric fruit and pine. Quite bitter, but very pleasant. Medium body and bitter aftertaste. Another fine IPA from Amager.

SlackerMads (3479) - DENMARK - DEC 31, 2012
Bottle. Hazy golden orange with thick lasting off white head, that leaves good lacing. Aroma is hoppy with pine and resin, bread, pale malt. Creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Taste is nicely balanced between hops and malt backbone. Soft and pleasant all the way with lots of tropical fruits and a slight bitter piney finish. This is a winner.

22 oz. bottle from Papsoe. It pours a hazy orange color with a stable white head. The aroma is complex hoppy with a little of everything. Grapefruit, pineapple, dank, spice and pine. Just a little sweet malt. The flavor is drier and more bitter than expected. Lots of spicy, piney hops. Little grapefruit, and big floral bitter finish. Extremely bitter. Nice IPA.
