COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We have striven and struggled, we have cursed and sworn and we have snarled and yelled. But dammit did we also have a good time since we boiled up the first brew at Amager Bryghus one early morning back in April 2007. A lot of beer has been through our tanks since then to now reach Batch 500. With this East Coast IPA we simply believe to have cracked the code and found the cash cow that will make us millionaires when we sell out to the multinationals. Batch 500 is a beer so pleasantly balancing between the lightly sweet malt and fruitiness and a rather complex hop profile that were sure that even the brewers non beerdrinking wife will have to surrender. THAT will be the ultimate test Enjoy!

Bottle. Pours a nice hazy golden orange color with a white head. Aroma is really juicy, I get orange, grapefruit, pine, floral notes, touch of earthy notes, light tropical fruits and a sweet malt backbone. The flavor follows the nose with juicy notes, again orange, grapefruit, small amount of peach, with decent amounts of pine and floral notes, with a touch of tropical and earthy notes with the sweet malt backbone. Overall a really nice IPA, more midwest than east coast in my mind though.
