Bottle-conditioned 500ml. Lightly hazed deep brown with a tall tan head of some retention. American hop impression is grass and resin, grapefruit and lychee. Esters are grape candy / purple drank. Malt is quiet chocolate and char and burnt biscuit with an odd note of sharp tire rubber. Velvety soft medium body, lightly sweet approach drying across the middle and back. It’s pleasantly savory but bitterness overpowers richness, and the drying, salty, bitter finish seems thin. Easy enough to mindlessly drink if you like rudely bitter beer, but I think showing the malt with more clarity would make for a better beer. zvsn (2320) - ISRAEL - APR 23, 2015
Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks kerenmk. Pours brown with a huge beige head. Smell of piney hops and roasted malt. Sweet malty flavors with notes of fruits, roast, caramel and soy, a bit salty, medium bitterness. Medium-bodied, dry aftertaste. TimE (6165) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 21, 2015
Muddy brown color with tanned head. Big massive hoppy nose with lots of grapefruit and cotton candy jumping out. Big caramel, chocolate malt and toffee character give this beer a big malty balance. First sip is all hops though with tons of candied apples and grapefruit character. Very well made with both hop and malt characters well defined. kerenmk (5269) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 14, 2015
Bottle shared at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks Papsø. Dark brown, opaque, with a frothy off white head. Hoppy lemon and pine aroma, lemongrass and sage. Very mild bitterness, fruity with some dates in the mouth. Medium-to-full body, bitter finish. DSG (15301) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 12, 2015
Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Black with a beige head. Aroma of piney and "green" hops, slightly stale and soapy, with some roast. Roasty flavor with faint sweetness, piney and "green" hops, and nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Head is initially large, frothy, brown, mostly lasting.
Body is black (non-opaque, flashlight tested).
Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, apricot, resin).
Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter.
Medium to full body, velvety/watery texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic, moderately astringent.
Fairly decent nose and appearance gets things off on the right foot...good balance of roasty malt and varied hoppy notes...not a lot of depth, but pleasant. Sadly, though, it’s rather caustic in the mouth...quite sour and astringent, and overly bitter as well. So it’s not much fun to drink. Overall just ok.
Great looking beer, with super fresh hop aroma, and the hard to achieve clean finish in a black ipa. On the other hand, not all that much malt character. Excellent body with a little alcohol warmth. Very easy drinking. Nevalainen (846) - FINLAND - MAR 29, 2015
Hazy black color with off white head. Aroma is clear citrus. Taste is sour with clear citric note. Very good beer. Bamsen78 (5573) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2015
Bottle. Pours hazy black with airy tan head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with notes of malt and fruit. Bitter, intense, hoppy flavour with notes of citrus, complemented by sweetish touches of yeast and malt. Hints of liquorice. Bitter aftertaste with citric hints. Good stuff. Bottle, 7.5%. Good jammy hop aroma, fruity and piney. Black colour with a faint red shine. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is sweet and quite roasted to begin with. Then comes a distinct bitterness with a good hop bite in the finish. Teaish hoppiness, also piney and citric. Very roasted malt base also.
