COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Granted, it was damn ’ difficult, but our customers asked for such a beer, we are actually quite proud of the fact that we succeeded. What we have succeeded with is to produce a beer that is not already from the first sip an attack on your tastebuds with a screeching hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol. Bryggen’s Blonde is probably best described as a beer with a gentle appearance that appeals to the thoughtful segment, rather than the tanned, hardened beer enthusiasts. In the glass it appears a warm golden beer both creamy and delicious. The scent is rich in floral tones and a slight hint of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.
With Bryggens Blond we would like to thank those of our customers who reminded us that a good beer does not always have to be a wild and violent experience.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, sweet orange zest and yeast

Bottle. 5.0%. Best before 09.17. Pours a hazy/dense orange/amber, with an off-white head. Good lacing. Sweet aroma, fruity, floral with light yeast and citrus/orange notes. Hint of molasses as it warms, followed by a bit of overripe fruit. Flavour is malt/bread, hops and fruit, with a floral overtone. Yeast, hint of orange as it warms, as well as a bit of overripe fruit. Mildly bitter finish, fruity, with a grainy hint. Lingering hop note and a bit more bitterness. Milky hint as it warms. Overall okay; nothing really special, but pretty drinkable. 20.06.17.

From Boxbeers. In Teku glass. After dinner. A letdown improper of amager, seems one of those amateurish brews with cardboard/cooked veggies notes in taste and aroma. Bb Dec 2018.

DraftDodger (1707) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2017
Copenhagen 31/1 2017. 50cl bottle from Føtex. Old rustic picture from Bryggen in Copenhagen on the label. Pours golden - almost orange - yellow with modest white head. Settles as patchy island of foam flowing aimlessly around. Aroma is fruity with some floral notes. Sweet caramel, cardboard and light touch of alcohol. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by pronounced bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Lingering. Despite being described on the label as "Gentle" it holds a nice moderate bitter punch. Quite fine.

Bottled 500ml (Beergium)
Hazy orange color, medium-sized white head. Belgi yeast esters in the nose with light spiceyness and fruits. Light-bodied. Orange and orange zest is evident in the flavor. Otherwise pale malty, light fruityness and spiceyness. Easy, a bit citric blond ale.
