English: Granted, it was damn ’ difficult, but our customers asked for such a beer, we are actually quite proud of the fact that we succeeded. What we have succeeded with is to produce a beer that is not already from the first sip an attack on your tastebuds with a screeching hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol. Bryggen’s Blonde is probably best described as a beer with a gentle appearance that appeals to the thoughtful segment, rather than the tanned, hardened beer enthusiasts. In the glass it appears a warm golden beer both creamy and delicious. The scent is rich in floral tones and a slight hint of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.
With Bryggens Blond we would like to thank those of our customers who reminded us that a good beer does not always have to be a wild and violent experience.

Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Clear orange/amber/golden - white head. Sweetness, nice malty, flowery, egg, fruity, spicy, yeasty, orange. Bitter finish. A bit boring.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear golden with a creamy, white head. fresh and fruity nose - perhaps with a vague acidity. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, some fruit - perhaps even overripe fruit and vitamin-c. The finish is only lightly bitter. An easy drink. 120708

Bottle. Pours golden amber with a medium white head. Fruity and malty aroma. Flavour is the same with some spices from the yeast. I expected something else from the Amager guys.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Light perfumed hoppy aroma, vague though. Flavour is mild caramel malt. shows a light hoppy fruity note. Ends smooth and light fruity with a slowly building bitterness. I found the old one quite a lot better.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2008
A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris O’s laid back Friday night tasting.
Cloudy pale blonde with a thin white head. Fruity and floral hoppy aroma that is very English in character. The flavour is more Belgian with some fairly clear yeast, more floral hops and a rather uneventful dry finish. So so at best.

faroeviking (11263) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - JUN 2, 2008
Botella. Batch 104. Rating # 3800. Bit hazy deep golden orange colour with a medium mostly diminishing white creamy head leaving a fair lacing. Moderate sweet fruity hoppiness and and a light caramel maltiness in the aroma. Soft bit lively mouthfeel. The flavour is a bit sweet with a pleasant lightly bitter hoppiness, and a nice soft not quite ripe frutiness. Short bit dry and mildly fruity finish. A nice rather mild golden ale.
