COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Granted, it was damn difficult, but our customers asked for such a beer, we are actually quite proud of the fact that we succeeded. What we have succeeded with is to produce a beer that is not already from the first sip an attack on your tastebuds with a screeching hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol. Bryggens Blonde is probably best described as a beer with a gentle appearance that appeals to the thoughtful segment, rather than the tanned, hardened beer enthusiasts. In the glass it appears a warm golden beer both creamy and delicious. The scent is rich in floral tones and a slight hint of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.
With Bryggens Blond we would like to thank those of our customers who reminded us that a good beer does not always have to be a wild and violent experience.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, sweet orange zest and yeast

Pours orangey golden with a little off white head. Diffuse malty aroma. But the taste is all fresh malt, with some good cereal and biscuit notes, with some floral overtones and maybe a bit of herbaceousness from the hops. I kind of agree with the brewerys description- this is not an extreme beer by any means, just good raw ingredients, nice and drinkable. I like this style - it makes a nice break from hopmonsters.

From Boxbeers. In Teku glass. After dinner. A letdown improper of amager, seems one of those amateurish brews with cardboard/cooked veggies notes in taste and aroma. Bb Dec 2018.

Copenhagen 31/1 2017. 50cl bottle from Ftex. Old rustic picture from Bryggen in Copenhagen on the label. Pours golden - almost orange - yellow with modest white head. Settles as patchy island of foam flowing aimlessly around. Aroma is fruity with some floral notes. Sweet caramel, cardboard and light touch of alcohol. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by pronounced bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Lingering. Despite being described on the label as "Gentle" it holds a nice moderate bitter punch. Quite fine.

Bottled 500ml (Beergium)
Hazy orange color, medium-sized white head. Belgi yeast esters in the nose with light spiceyness and fruits. Light-bodied. Orange and orange zest is evident in the flavor. Otherwise pale malty, light fruityness and spiceyness. Easy, a bit citric blond ale.

Bottle, 50cl. Pours unclear, warm golden color with an off-white, foamy head. Fruity and hoppy malty nose with melon, straw, bread and hay. Floral, malty flavour with some bread, caramel and medium-bitter hoppy taste. Light sweetness of caremel to balance the hops. Medium body with average carbonation. Really easy to drink and perfect for a quick refreshment.

Berries and fruity aroma. Fruity and bitter taste. Very bitter aftertaste that fills a weak moment. A little too bitter for me. Follow me @ Kung av l @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
