COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Our pale ale is inspired by the style "American Pale Ale ", which is characterized by a good use of bittering and aroma hops. We have been generous in our useage of both the hop types Cascade and Centennial , as both have been involved in the boil and in the subsequent dry-hopping . The two varieties of dry hops give a fruity freshness in both aroma and taste. The taste is of both grapefruit and peach - and a tiny hint of pine needles.
Christianshavn Pale Ale is a feiry golden red in the glass with a dense, creamy and long lasting head, leaving a discreet blonde halo on the inside of the glass as it slowly settles . The beer has a medium density with a slightly sweet malt character , where a touch of caramel can be felt. The beer is rounded off with a mild and dry bitterness that titillates the taste buds and creates balance and harmony.
Christianshavn Pale Ale is a light alcohol beer so can - and should - be enjoyed in abundance.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, and yeast

from erzbierschof - hazy dark blond-orange beer under a huge creamy foam; fairly perfumy hoppiness with notes of apricots and litchies; medium-bodied and juicy; a respectable and subtle bitterness; slightly dry with long fruity hoppy notes

Golden color with a fine off-white head. Citrus aroma. Caramel and citrus flavor. Not complex, but fine beer. not much hops, maybe a little of the gassed when beer was drunk near sell-by date.

HUGE pine, grapefruit and toffee nose. Wow. Then it died. Still solid in the mouth, but a little flat and the hoppiness is a dull blade rubbing against the tongue, rather than caressing it. Decent, but this would need to be tried fresh on tap, in Denmark, to really hit home.

stefannilssons (1580) - SWEDEN - DEC 19, 2011

Bottle, 50 oz: Slightly hazy golden orange beer with a white quickly disappearing head. Hoppy aroma with lots of floral and citrus notes in the nose and maltede notes of caramel. The taste is medium sweet and heavy hoppy, with lots of floral and fruity notes like pineapple, pine, orange, peach. Medium body, oily texture. Long dry bitter finish. Very drinkable take on the style.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Nice pour on this one. A cloudy yellow with a big, fluffy white head. Head sits on top for the duration. Nose is surrounded by clear notes of lemon curd and zest. Lots of lemon zest and citrus in the taste. Solid APA without being outstanding. Poured fantastically though
