From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. Playing Tales across time. Deliciously nutty with a hoppy presence in the line of Cascadian Dark ales. Really fullfilling feel for such a low abv. Derbeth (947) - Kraków, POLAND - MAR 26, 2017
Bottle with expiry date 07/2017. Dark brown colour, almost black, rocky head that does not stay long, poor lacing. Aroma: quite intensive nuts, also some subtle hops. Light bitterness - but enough to make it interesting. A bit too few body and too much carbonation for my taste. Good. johndoughty (5452) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 26, 2017
Bottle. Lovely dark brown appearance. Slightly nutty flavour with a strong presence of malts. Pored with a small head. Very well balanced and an excellent example of this style. SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - FEB 17, 2017
Bottle. Hazy chestnut brown with a medium sized beige head with good retention, lace and regeneration. Malty nose with nuts, twigs and brown bread. The flavour follows with brown bread, grain, dark wood, light cocoa, nuts, light chocolate. Medium body, soft texture, medium sweet with mild bitterness. Soft malty finish. Tasty. Deep ruby color, small beige head. Aroma has a bit artifical-like chocolate and rye bread. Light-bodied. Suprisingly thin. Coffee, dark chocolate, dark malts mixed with Cascade give odd perfumic-vanilla combination. Aftertaste is also perfumic. Odd but drinkable.
From the bottle. Pours brown with a limited cappuccino head. Aroma is of roasted malt, caramel, coffee. Body is tendentially light, carbonation is low. Taste has both low sweetness and low bitterness. Finish is surprisingly short. Sjohnh (947) - Coventry, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2016
Dark brown, with huge off-white head and lacing. Medium body, nothing special on the palate. Nice balance of nuttiness, malt and a touch of dark fruit. Kita (2153) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUL 29, 2016
Bottle, 0.50l. Pours clear dark brown color with thick creamy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, cocoa, nuts, mild roasted malt and vanilla. Taste starts with medium sweet chocolate and nutty, follows by roasted malt and grassy note, mouthfeel is a bit medicinal, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, sticky texture and average carbonation in palate. Well executed hoppy brown ale... OminouSC2 (675) - Mora, SWEDEN - JUL 4, 2016
Brown/amber with medium carbonation. Caramel with some fruits, chocolate and bitter finish. A bit thin and overall "meh". Amager can do much better. DraftDodger (1532) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2016
