COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editors note: Launched at EBF - the European Beer Festival, Copenhagen 2008.

On tap @ Henrik. This is a blurry deep golden one with a nice medium sized really lingering and lacing white top. Soft floral and grassy hoppy nose. Not extreme in any way but quite gentle and nice. Light citrus tones and traces of caramel. Noticing that I have a tad to much perfume on me for beer rating. Tastes fresh and nice. Quite lightdrinkable with a light oily mouthfeel wrapped in a average carbonation level. Mild grassy, a good amount of bitterness here. Almost yeast bitter in a way but its not disturbing. A straight forward one, nothing special buy its a nice one non the less. 22.03.2014

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a light orange slightly hazy body with a medium white head. Nose is resin, pine, nettles and hints of pale malts, grapefruit and pale malts. Taste is citric peel, herbs, grapefruit, resin and hints of pale malts and red fruits. Medium body and carbonation, semi-dry finish. A nice IPA with a bitter streak.

Hazy deep amber beer, little white head. Light hop nose. A little caramel malt dominated by hops. Strange hops! Appley with a trace of pear! There is a more traditional marmalade grapefruit in the finish. Quite a bitter aftertaste - a bit brutal in its aftertaste!

Koelschtrinker (18349) - Kln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 3, 2011
Absweschlungsreiches IPA! 12/12/11/12/Fl/12

Bottle from papsoe, thanks! Best until dec 09. Amber color. Perfumed aroma with grapefruit. Earthy perfumed oily hopflavor with lots of citrusfruit, melon and bitter walnuts. Toffee fudge. Too perfumed for me.

Bottle; courtesy of the trading legend which is Papsoe. Man you are far too generous! Epic epic head, lovely soft texture, very earthy undercurrent, very murky, huge pinal and grapefruit aroma, are these the smells of Danish woodlands? I hope so. Some lovely candy and sweet malts, some lemon and some zesty orange peel. Taste is wow; big blend of fruits, mmm, grapefruit, citrus, oranges, lemons, some sweet candy, fantastic on the pallet, really succulent, pine some earthy notes at the bottom and wow just a great combination from a big bold ipa. This is classic dont judge a beer by its appearance. Please this is outstanding. I am loving this. Wow. What a way to start my weekend. Thank you Papseo. The finish is medium-dry, also fruity, excellent lacing, world class even and a great soft gentle carbonation feel. Carbonation is excellent. What a great beer. Wow.
