COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: It is said that behind every great man is an equally great - and above all - wise woman.
Now this can also be said of the beer world. Perhaps our most famous beer, Hr. (Mr.) Frederiksen is a powerful dude, who enjoys nothing more than to stand and admire his own muscles. Fru (Mrs.) Frederiksen however is a wise woman who knows perfectly well that it is possible to achieve almost as much without using anywhere near as much force.
This Lady is just as powerful but is somewhat toned down compared to the Lord. Slightly sweeter and less smokey although with plenty of black malt, chocolate malt and roasted barley she is no complete sissy - the US Centennial hops with its 60+ IBUs reminds you of this fact.
Bid the mistress welcome - she is here to stay.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

It poured a pitch black liquid with a small light brown foam that left just a little bit of lacing. I was a bit suprised to sense some hops in the smell. However there where also some chocolate, and coffey. I liked the smell. The taste was a bit watered down though, I would have liked it allot heavier, even for a stout. It had a taste of chocolate, coffey and burned toast. A decent beer.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours a black color with a nice foamy brown head. Aroma of coffee, liquorice, dark chocolate and grassy hops. Flavour is similar with lots of roasted malts, liquorice, dark chocolate, and coffee. Quite hoppy/grassy, with a lingering bitterness. Mediumbodied, dry mouthfeel, with medium carbonation. A very nice stout indeed!

Ungstrup (36182) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2009
Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma is very roated lending it notes of soy sauce combined with notes of chocolate, but also a light note of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, dark sweet chocolate, alcohol, and a bit of bitter hops, leading to a bitter roasted finish, where the alcohol tickles the tongue.
