COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: It is said that behind every great man is an equally great - and above all - wise woman.
Now this can also be said of the beer world. Perhaps our most famous beer, Hr. (Mr.) Frederiksen is a powerful dude, who enjoys nothing more than to stand and admire his own muscles. Fru (Mrs.) Frederiksen however is a wise woman who knows perfectly well that it is possible to achieve almost as much without using anywhere near as much force.
This Lady is just as powerful but is somewhat toned down compared to the Lord. Slightly sweeter and less smokey although with plenty of black malt, chocolate malt and roasted barley she is no complete sissy - the US Centennial hops with its 60+ IBUs reminds you of this fact.
Bid the mistress welcome - she is here to stay.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

Ethereal (2471) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 17, 2008
Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Black in colour with a great roast malt aroma and flavour. Uber-smooth and flavoursome. A great stout.

RBSG09 bottle at the grand tasting. Pours almost black with a creamy tan head. Aromas of dark breads and dark chocolate, with a metallic note. Flavor is mainly dark chocolate and cocoa powder, with a light roasted coffee character and toffee. Some mild hop flavors come through with pine, grapefruit, and resin. There’s a hint of acidity too. Nice complex beer.

0,5 l bottle, bought at PreZBF Festival, Belgium.
Poured black with a fantastic foamy, beige head with small bubbles. Deep roasted aroma with a ton of dried fruits, fine espresso-like coffee and molasses, caramel, dark chcolates and a lurking hop perfume. Medium bodied stout witha well rounded, smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is full of coffee, roasted grains, dark chocolates and tobacco, some sweet molasses, nice hops in the finish. Roasted coffe-like, dry aftertaste. Very pleasant.

500ml bottle. Pours a very smooth unsticky near black with a wonderful foamy fizzy light tan airy head. Aroma accented by a touch of alcohol, super clean roast, no coffee, oats, smoothly floral, plummy, super clean, and thanks to the Amager guys for giving me some insights as to why = ) ! Flavor follows, light bitterness, no coffee, unique bitterness and faint sweetness that reminds me of the plumminess of some trappist beers, oats, super clean. Medium bodied, smooth with zero stickiness, very well attenuated, beautiful, light sizzling carbonation, very easy drinking. A delight.

Bottle. Pours a brown black with a large tight soapy tan mocha colored head that settles to a thin soapy film. Aroma has good bitterness of hops and chocolate roasted malt and some faint marsh mellow/vanilla. Taste has more bitter hops with pine/spruce and milk chocolate some yeast and good roasted malt and sugars. Palate is medium somewhat coating and dry. Really tasty!

500ml bottle from IPB.
Appearance : Pitch black with medium foamy head.
Aroma : Light coffee with roasted malt, some hops too.
Taste : Coffee with roasted malt and hops. Light alcohol on finish with lots of coffee. Resinous and piny hops, rather bitter.
Overall : Interesting beer. Almost drinkable but the alcohol is a bit too apparent to be sessionable. Quite tasty with a great finish, nice coffee and hops. Overall quite good and well balanced but maybe a bit unidimensional. I just saw this is styled as a stout... felt a bit imperial to me. It would kinda of fall between regular stout and imperial stout I think.

Pours a dark black pour with a quick dissipating java head. Nose is roasted malt, chocolate , coffee with some bitterness. Taste is rich malt, with deep chocolate and coffee notes and some nice sweetness. Finishes on the same tasting notes, with a moderately long sweet tasty finish. Quaff Score 8 / 10
