COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: It is said that behind every great man is an equally great - and above all - wise woman.
Now this can also be said of the beer world. Perhaps our most famous beer, Hr. (Mr.) Frederiksen is a powerful dude, who enjoys nothing more than to stand and admire his own muscles. Fru (Mrs.) Frederiksen however is a wise woman who knows perfectly well that it is possible to achieve almost as much without using anywhere near as much force.
This Lady is just as powerful but is somewhat toned down compared to the Lord. Slightly sweeter and less smokey although with plenty of black malt, chocolate malt and roasted barley she is no complete sissy - the US Centennial hops with its 60+ IBUs reminds you of this fact.
Bid the mistress welcome - she is here to stay.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

([email protected]). Pitch black, small tan head. Aroma of licorice, salted licorice. Lots of roasted malts, color malt, ash and tobacco. Toasted aftertaste. It’s more simple than Mister Frederiksen and has a bit too much tobacco in it for being as good as Hr..

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2011 Bottle, thx to the brewer, Storm. Pours a beautiful black body under a finger-thick tan head. Chocolate and coffee in the aroma, as well as dusty, piney hops. Chocolate, coffee, molasses notes and a fine hop profile with piney hops giving a fine bitterness. Full-bodied. The lasting finish has both hoppy and coffee-like bitterness. As usual, Amager has made a beauty. Rating: 7-5-8-4-15-3.9. 081031

Bottle, shared by Meilby. A dark brown to black body is topped by a finger-thick, tan head. There’s lots of hops in the aroma, citrus and pine cones, but even more roasted malts giving chocolate and coffee. A good dash of chocolate in the flavor, coffee, licorice and a nice hoppy bitterness too. Full-bodied and smooth. Lasting finish with alcohol, coffee and hoppy bitterness. Definitely a lady I could dance with all night. 110114

500ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
7 Rich dry unsweetened bitter chocolate aroma
4 almost black small tight head
8 Lovely rich burnt roast, bitter and chocolatey ob swallowing. Retronasals quite sharp, some hoppiness.
4 refreshing carbonation, crisp at first, but softens on the tongue with the sweet body. Finish continues the hops from the retronasals but they settle down into being quite bitter and dry and almost papery.
15 A really good sipper. We made this last almos an hour and every sip was great.

50cl bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense. Pours a thick black colour with a creamy brown head and lacings. Nose is roasted malts and hops. Coffee, chocolate, oat and liquorice. Taste is very bitter from both hops and malts. Quite ashy and syrupy. Smooth, full, oily and sticky palate. Good stuff!

bhensonb (15355) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 17, 2014
Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of near burnt dark malt with a hint of chocolate. Med body, maybe better. Flavor is slightly "sour" dark burnt malt with some dark chocolate and probably a ggod dose of bitter hop. With time it develops a touch smoke. Nice stuff.
