Hopscotch you are the fucking man. Black pour. Aroma is full of roasted malt, chocolate and some hops. Flavor is rich and full with a great balance between the chocolate malts and some great hops. This is an amazing beer and I am honored to be entering the first rating in the USA. Cheers and thanks again Eric. You really shared a gem this time! MissouriBrent (122) - Missouri, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Lots of dark malt aroma. Hints of coffee and slight vanilla aromas. Pours deep black with rich light brown head. Wow! Lots of dark malt flavor. The dark roast flavor is very nice. Very rich and dry at the same time. The lingering roast malt astringency is actually very pleasant. This is a thoroughly enjoyable beer. This beer needs some soft stinky cheese to go with it. Wonderful! Keil (171) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 20, 2010
Sweet caramel, toffee aroma. Lots of caramel, vanilla, coffee and toffee in the flavor. Chewy mouthfeel, residual bitterness. Very dry and oaky. Slight booze in the finish. Braudog (6803) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - DEC 27, 2010
Bottle. Pours with the visual appeal of old motor oil. The aroma is killer ... plain old strong coffee. Very nice java and licorice flavors with a distinct grainy undertow. Beauty of a stout. Delicious. (#4035, 12/13/2010) Balazs (787) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - AUG 10, 2010
Bottle from Csakajosor.hu. Poured pitch black with a huge, beige head. Lots of roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate, raisins, and hops in the aroma. Medium dense and carbonation. Slightly sweet finish that ends with a hoppy aftertaste. Excellent beer!

Pours a nice warm opaque sable with a thick, fine-bubbled, light tan head that sticks around for a while. Aroma is strongly of molasses and miso, with hints of chocolate and smoke. Flavor is rather sweet, but not cloying, and has nutty, molasses, smoky, caramel and chocolate components as well as a hint of coffee and a bit of hoppy bitterness. Fairly thick texture is rather smooth and fizzy, leaving behind a nice tingle. polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - MAR 16, 2012
Bottle. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, peat, dough and licorice. Nice. Very dark brown that sits jet black in the glass with an average light tan head that mostly diminished and left great lace. Flavor is very sweet and medium/heavy bitterness. Palate is medium/full bodied and watery soft. Overall a really nice stout. Great aroma and flavor that really shows off the chocolate and roasted malt profile. The hops are very well balanced and do not overpower the finish with bitterness. A very good stout that is right up there with Bells Kalamazoo stout. Just loved it. EBF2008. Fru Frederiksen is a pitch black lady with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt and a little chocolate. The flavour has a light, smooth and mellow malty sweetness and a light roasted bitterness and notes of coffee, light caramel, licorice and a little chocolate. The balance is very nice indeed, and it’s a beer you feel at home in, so to speak, and I would love to have boxes and boxes of this in my cellar. Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Black in colour with a great roast malt aroma and flavour. Uber-smooth and flavoursome. A great stout. jbrus (4989) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAR 14, 2009
Very strong, even intense aroma. What a looker! Black coloured, brown head, great lace. On the sweet side, very malty, great balance, so flavourful. Soft and full. Maybe a bit too sweet but has all I like in a Stout.
