Flavors of dry earthy cocoa, berries with cream, ash, dirty orange, dark coffee and plum. Bottled. Black Beer, creamy tan head. Roasted grainy, licoricy notes, a touch of caramelly biscuit aroma. Fruity fermentation aromas. Sturdy, almost creamy maltiness, ripe fruitiness, sweetly herbal hops, dry and resiny bitter finish with coffee and dark chocolate. Velvety, very soft texture, good carbonation. Very good stout.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing chocolate brown head. Aroma is mild hoppy and mild roasted malty. Chocolate and roasted malty base flavour swept with a smooth citrusy hops. Nice and smooth finish. But come one - all of these imperial stouts are almost the same - why continue with so many different kinds. KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2008
Black with large brown head. Sweet aroma with loads of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, dark bitter chocolate, coffee and hops. End bitter. Excellent! thewolf (12535) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2008

Pours completely black with a nice, staying, creamy, brown, film head. Aroma is very soft, chocolate and coffee, cocoa and liquorice. Super soft mouthfeel, great for the ABV. Flavour has smoke, dark chocolate, softly roasted and some coffee. Pleasantly dry, bitter, long aftertaste with light liquorice. Super.

Vanilla aroma with some pleasant sweet, roastiness and definite hops (British?). Reddish-opaque black with nice light brown ring and dots. Very good, dry roasty flavour with a nice bitter bite and some hops bitterness. Mostly roast but still a little sweet malt. Perceptible hops flavour. Dry finish, clean, moderate carbonation, does not seem like 7%. Grovlam (4222) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2008
Bottle. Huge dense work creamy brown head that really lasted. Excellent display of lacework. Pitch black bubbly color. Lovely and strong notes of roasted malt, coffee, liquorish. Also sweet chocolate and a hint of berries. Over the palate came a solid base of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Also some underlying floral – hoppy notes. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and somewhat dry and at the same time thick texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Tasty liquorish and roasted malty finish with a touch of sweet chocolate.
