500 ml bottle. Brown/Amber body with a big, dense, creamy tan head. Aroma is a bit mild, mainly caramel with a hint of fruit. The flavor was a positive surprise, nothing really extraordinary really, just malt, fruit, bitter and some caramel – but very smooth and well balanced. Some warming alcohol feeling as well. gunnfryd (15294) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 2, 2011

Bottle 50 cl. Large beige thick foamy head that really lasted. Good display of lacework. Dark mahogany color. Aroma of mild toasted malt, light fruity notes, hints of spice. Over the palate the toasted malty notes almost becomes roasted like feel with a hint of dark fruit and light alcoholic touch. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with some roasted bitterness to counter the sweetness. Light lingering roasted malty sweetness to finish this beer off. Nice tasteful X-mas indeed.

Delicate sweet malt flavor, added by tones of mild cocoa, milk-chocolate and dried dark fruits. Dryish and dusty mouthfeel. Well-bodied. Rounded finish with notes of mild spices.
