4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Rich Inky Brown. Half a finger of mocha bubbles.
Nose: Deeply roasted malt, hints of cocoa. Definite hop presence. Touch of pine
Taste: Chocolate, cocoa, dark roasted malt, hints of pine.
Body: Fuller with satiny mouthfeel.
Parting thoughts: A very chocolate stout. The hops are definitely something that sets this apart. They blend well with the chocolate bitters.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A bit too much Amager, not enough Hoppin’ Frog. A mix between the hop and the malt makes me wonder if it’s a Black IPA, Stout or Imperial stout I’m drinking. Aroma is nice with lot of complexity but falls short on taste/finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smells of roasted malts with a slight winey boozy scent at the end. Super rich black color with no head. Really nice smooth roasted malts flavor with slight wine taste with wood like dry finish. Full body with exreamly light carbonation. Love the feel of the beer but not a fan of that winey taste not my thing. But still not a bad brew.

On bottle. Pitch black color, good brownish foam. HIgh aroma intensity; cocoa, hops, choclate, malt, dark toffee and some leather. Full body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance. Very enjoyable

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Shared 16.9 oz. bottle. Pours brown-black with a dark tan head. Nose is roasted malt, chocolate, and licorice with coffee notes. Flavor is similar to the nose and quite rich. There is a good amount of hops bitterness, but it doesn’t clash with roasted/chocolate/coffee flavors and adds a nice extra dimension. Medium-bodied. Could probably be classified as a stout. Excellent.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma: chocolatey and rich; Appearance: pitch black with tan head that dissipates quickly; Taste: also very rich and chocolatey with underlying bitterness and hops; extremely complex and delicious; Palate: heavy body with long, simultaneously sweet and bitter finish; Overall: possibly my favorite imperial stout yet, though perhaps just a teench too sweet; would definitely buy again.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Erzbierschof Zurich. Probably the most chocolate-y impstout I ever had, from start to finish having this very dark bitter cocoa aroma. Some sweetness on the tongue, but not on the palate. Lingering lasting finish, but not a sweet one either. Wow.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle split at Amager Brewery mini tasting, RBESG ’15 day 3, thanks to Papsoe, 22/08/15.
Pitch black with a decent dirty tan covering that retains well.
Nose is rich roast, dark malts, spice, chocolate, hint of fruit.
Taste comprises chocolate, malt, toffee fudge, roast malt.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, dry roasty tones in the close.
Decent enough impy.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from systembolaget sweden. Big and lasting brown head. Big chocolate aroma and taste. Big bitterness and a litle bit hard. Not as good as the original Frog but still very good.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bomber from Liquor Max in Loveland. Black pour with a brown head leaving a lot of lace. Aroma has baker’s chocolate, caramel, and some light grain. Taste is of bittersweet chocolate, caramel, light molasses and a bit of espresso. Fairly smooth although not ideally so. Medium to full bodied with little alcohol presence. Finishes chocolatey bitter trumping the sweet side of bittersweet. Solid if not everything it could be. 14.3
