Tap @ Mikkeller. Aroma is pretty coffee forward, behind that is a nice malt profile, rather complex with both chocolate, caramel, dates, roasted malts, and a slighty vegatal coffee bean component. The taste is as you would imagine regular Hr. frederiksen with a shot of fruity, roasted espresso. Lots of malt complexity, and the taste does bot have the earthy vegetal component that the aroma does. I don't think it's an improvementnof the original (which is awesome), but it's definitely damn tasty!! Ktwse (4875) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2012
On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Pours black with tiny tan head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, a hint of vanilla and a touch of chocolate. Taste is very gentle, not as powerful as I would have expected. Body is creamy and medium to full. Nice, but not great, beer. kschep (1707) - DENMARK - APR 8, 2012
