English: Even when just poured into the glass, you feel straight away that Mr. Frederiksen is a master of potency and great personality. Pitch-black as Mr. Frederiksens humor, this American style Imperial Stout has a dense and creamy, light brown head that leaves an abundance of lacing on the glass as it reluctantly settles.
We are happy to admit that we have gone slightly berserk with malt in this beer, eight different varieties were used including black and roasted malts that give this beer its color and almost extreme density - this is almost a meal in a bottle. The bitterness is also supplied by the roasted malts backed by the American Centennial hops.
Mr. Frederiksen is an experience to be savoured he should be enjoyed slowly throughout the course of an entire evening where you can warm yourselves by his alcohol and provocative charms.
We have named this beer after a good friend without whose wonderful support and assistance Amager Brewery would not be where it is today.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

50cl bottle from Beervana. Pours a viscous dark near black brown color with a small but lasting beige head. Aroma is quite intense based on strong roasted grains, dark espresso (even ristretto), coffee grains, touches of dark chocolate and cocoa powder. I didnt catch aroma hops, but theyre certainly present in the bitterness. A fantastic melding of roasted and bitter flavors, well balanced by just the right amount of malty, grainy sweetness. Hints of vanilla and wood. Overall, coffee flavors dominate though. A great, balanced coffee-based Imperial Stout. A cold top-tier smooth espresso. Need another bottle for testing again.

Holy shitsnacks batman, Hr. Frederiksen is a master of roasted malts. I feel like Im drinking a farmers field after he burnt it to the ground. A very alcoholic field too. I can taste the alcohol, I can feel it burn as it goes down and its warming my insides. Im thinking I should slow down, I can already feel the evil alcohol working on my brain.

Dense and frothy 4 finger off-white/light tan head. Pitch black beer. Aroma is roasted coffee, vanilla, dark chocolates with hints of coconut, nuts and liquorice. Vinous tone in there aswell. Taste is oriented towards coffee, chocolate and nuts. A bit dissappointed by its mild ending and by how thin it is (for the ABV, that is). It does give a nice initial mouthfeel though and its smooth as hell. Overall, a good impy that I unfortunately expected more from. Still pleasant and definitely worth a try.
