COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Even when just poured into the glass, you feel straight away that Mr. Frederiksen is a master of potency and great personality. Pitch-black as Mr. Frederiksen’s humor, this American style Imperial Stout has a dense and creamy, light brown head that leaves an abundance of lacing on the glass as it reluctantly settles.
We are happy to admit that we have gone slightly berserk with malt in this beer, eight different varieties were used including black and roasted malts that give this beer its color and almost extreme density - this is almost a meal in a bottle. The bitterness is also supplied by the roasted malts backed by the American Centennial hops.
Mr. Frederiksen is an experience to be savoured he should be enjoyed slowly throughout the course of an entire evening where you can warm yourselves by his alcohol and provocative charms.
We have named this beer after a good friend without whose wonderful support and assistance Amager Brewery would not be where it is today.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

Bottle 0,50L. Black as night with a finger of creamy, light brown head. Aroma of strong coffee, dark chocolate, note of smoke. Very smooth, light sweet at the start with a lot of chocolate and dark dried fruits. Finish is getting moderate to heavy bitter with long lasting aftertaste. Full body, almost syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Excellent brew!

From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. Playing Costume Quest. It gives an initial impression of excellent balance. Then alcohol starts to be noticiable but not bothering. However, it ends affecting head. Fairly bitter

500ml bottle. Pitch black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted dark malts, liquorice, dry roasted coffee beans and cocoa. Taste is silky smooth dark chocolate, light black bread and roasted dark malts, slight liquorice and sweet espresso. Full mouthfeel, light carbonation and sweet but not overly so, maybe a touch sticky, chocolate aftertaste.

With old label. Kilka lat lezakowane w mojej piwnicy. A smak, poczatkowo slodycz po czym pojawia sie spora palonosc slodow, trufle obsypane kakao, czekolada, kawa mocno palona, Po chwili uderza alkoholowe cieplo i wspaniale rozgrzewa. Dochodzi chmielna goryczka i znowu slodycz. Wspaniale zbilansowane piwo miedzy slodycza a gorycza. Tresciwe, niemal wspaniale. Mimo poczatkowej, lekko przesadnej slodyczy to piwo jest niemal genialne. Zapadnie mi napewno dlugo w pamieci.

500m bottle in the cellar for at least two years. Pours a dark, dark, dark brown with a thin mocha cap. Smells incredible. Molasses, raisins, cocoa, light booziness, a very faint hit of spearmint, and black licorice. Medium bodied, sweet, molasses, raisins, dates, faint alcohol burn, earthiness, into huge dark roasty malt notes (the kind you would associate with a fuller bodied beer), more molasses, light citrus, espresso, and a huge finish. This is really all about that explosion of malt. Fantastic stuff. I love this brewery.

Bottle, 50cL. 10.5%. Purchase ("saveur-biere.com", FR). Home. A shining black beer with a big dark beige fomay head ; good retention ; great lacing ; beautiful ! Roast, black chocolate, sugar, rustic cereal, red berries (blackberry), coffee note, alcohol. Medium to heavy sugary sweet, quite warming, medium dry bitter. Full body, sily texture, soft carbonation, bittersweet warming dry roasty lasting finish. Overall, delicious ; too sugary to be a top beer. Sugar makes a beer more drinkable but less interesting.

Nice and roasty aroma, with vanilla, dark malts , dark chocolate and burnt bread. Taste is mostly roastiness, but a nice one. Sweet, malty, dried plums, ash, alcoholic spiciness. Oily, sweet and bitter. Finish is burnt malts and bitterness. Nice impy.

Thin beige head left a cover on a near black still body.
Big aroma of dark chocolate, bitter fruit, sour grapes & hints of malt.
Medium bodied, so so smooth on the palate with a slight tingle on the back. Dry.
Sweet malt, chocolate & vanilla to the fore followed by a slightly bitter back of dark chocolate, dark spirits, sweet grapes & hints of citrus
