50 cl. bottle sampled @ GBF 2013. Murky dark brown with a beige head. Nose is sweet mocha, chocolate, cocoa, faint hops. Taste is sweet chocolate milk, coffee, chocolate, light grapefruit and pine in the back, far smoother than the onslaught expected. Hops add a fruity and mild touch to the whole. Lighter carb. Very enjoyable beer. Cheers Hr. Papsø I assume. Thx! to the RB Crew for sharing. ogivlado (8316) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUN 5, 2013

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of and great thx to Papsoe for sending me a bunch of Amager beers to celebrate my 5K milestone.
Soooo...the 5000th beer was dark brown (almost black) coloured with medium to big sized beige head and fruity flowery nose. Roasted malt, tropical/passion fruits and jammy like hoppy taste with bitter hoppy finish. Different than other BIPA’s I’ve tried and a really pleasant surprise. The best milestone beer so far.
Bottle: Batch 606: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Brown pour. Medium to bigger sized, vast, slowly changing and sticky creamy beige colored foamy head on top of a hazy deep dark to black colored beer.
Aroma from the bottle was a clean and crisp mix of hop flowers and liquid liquorice candy.
Aroma from the glass is a bit more outspoken: hops, floral, plant extracts, citrus, lemon, grapefruit, roast, liquorice, malt toast/roast and grapefruit. Nice.
Flavours are a good mix of floral tones, cream, hops, herbs, liquorice, roast, lemon, citrus, grapefruit, plants, herbs, bitter, flowers, grass, caramel, light mocha, some wood roast and yeast.
Aftertaste bitter, hops, flowers, floral, roast, grass and liquorice.
Low carbo, soft creamy thicker mouthfeel, good medium to lightly fuller body and a thick creamy to light oily ish texture.
Delicious, crisp, balanced, clean and very well executed with only 5.5%ABV. Well done! tderoeck (10593) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 9, 2013

Little cloudy murky dark brown beer with some chunks floating around under a creamy rocky beige head, very stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, pineapple, passion fruit, honey, floral, soapy, some watermelon. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity start, pineapple, some mocha, citrus, floral, some honey sweetness and caramel, hop bitterness. Aftertaste: mocha, caramel, fruity hops. Nice one!
Bu en bouteille de 50cl, belle couleur brune et une jolie couleur de mousse marron café, en bouche grosse attaque sur le grillé et le fruit rouge et le café une tuerie

Bottle 50cl from Henrik itself, thanks. A dark beer with huge off white head and good lacing. Nose is on fruit hops, classic us bouquet. Aroma is excellent such as a dark chocolate biscuit with marmelade ! Extreamly well associated, this intense bitter chocolate with a very fresh fruit juice in a creamy body. Good well balanced not excessive in any direction, long roasted aftertaste with again lichee, mango notes and a nice lemony touch. Good, clean, very easy drinkable, technically an excellent brew.
