Skl!

English: Forget about India Pale Ale being an English beer, which should be robust enough to withstand the long sea voyage from England to India. Our version of an IPA is totally inspired by the new interpretations, especially those found on the U.S. west coast.
A solid malt base, combined with Simcoe, Amarillo and Cascade hops and then just dry hopped enough to ensure that the hop burn is thorough. It is fruity and fresh, its bitter like hell and it is strong enough to give you a little kick if you drink a couple of bottles or three.
This is how we make a great IPA at Amager. We dont have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer. Cheers!

Bottle. Hazy golden brown with an off-white head. Aromas are marzipan and pine with spicy, floral notes. Quite resinous with woody notes. Flavours are bitter pine with marzipan. Oak with cream and mixed fruit. Lots of marzipan character in these Amager brews. Decent.

Not too sweet, which I like in an ipa. Hops standing out, very nice smell; taste as well. Easy to drink, bottle was gone in the blink of an eye. Straightforward, but very enjoyable.

(Bottle) Deep amber colour, slightly hazy, with huge frothy beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, orange peel, dried apricots, marmalade and hints of pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus peel, grape fruit, apricots, lych, caramel and a solid malt foundation. Lots of fresh piney, citrussy hops in a finish with a generous bitterness. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Solid and well made IPA. Very nice.

500ml bottle. Resiny, piney warm malt nose. Amber colour, slight haze from the vitamins. Gentle maltyness with a dry citrussy hop. Soft and clean with a gentle hop linger. Really rather nice. Just finished the glass with a fairly spicy thai curry - and it works brilliantly. Great stuff. Not Hardcore, but not far off

Bottle from the extremely generous Amager brewers and Papsoe (huge thanks!)
Poured a murky dark amber body with a thick white head. Passionfruit hop nose, dry and bitter hoppy taste, vague fruitiness. A nice, simple, dryish IPA.
