UPDATED: JAN 22, 2013 Bottle @ astral beers. It pours dark with a huge beige head on top. Flavor and taste are caramel, coffee and chocolate. Good bitterness. Well balanced. Great beer. nybol (2346) - DENMARK - JUL 12, 2017
En kraftig sag der næsten virker tyk i det. Den er mere krydret end de fleste juleøl. KnutAlbert (6791) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2013
Very dark red. Rich fruity aroma. Plums.
Sweet fruit, kept in tow by hop bitterness. Figs, prunes, oragnes, nuts. Long lasting finish with some raisins. Bamsen78 (5560) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 24, 2012
Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper with off-white head. Dark aroma of malt and roast. Bitter, malty taste wi a dry finish. Good. Definitely good. StoutHead (992) - DENMARK - JUN 13, 2013
Bottle (bought at brewery about 7 months ago). Pours a clear ruby red color with a huge off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, spices and fruits. Taste is of malt, hops, fruits, spices and sugar. Body is above medium. Aftertaste is fruity, spicy and with perfect hop-bitterness. It’s good when it’s cold, but this one I’m drinking at room temperature (about 20-25 degrees) and the taste is really smooth and pleasant. Very good.

Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Some spicey notes. Nice. Acid303 (674) - Barcelona, CATALONIA, - AUG 8, 2013
50cl bottle. Brown-copper colour with small beige creamy head...looks similar to cola. Toasty notes, malts, and licorice on the nose. The taste is softer than expected: lightly smoky, with predominance of caramel and dark fruits. Sugary palate. Medium body, good carbonation. Nice balance overall, and not too heavy at all considering it’s a christmas brew. yngwie (17233) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle. Almost clear in the glass, brown in color and topped by a small, light beige head. Roasted malts, toffee, coffee and spices, cardamom and cloves. There’s a pleasant and sufficient bitterness in the flavor, along with the spices and malty flavors known from the aroma. Full body and a pleasant carbonatio level. Bitter and malty finish with a spiced touch. A really pleasant brown ale, although not my preferred Christmas beer. 130208
