Dark red low carbonation. Great earthy leather flavor with a well balanced tartness. Sour aged hops added to dimension. Great example! Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2011
Almost black of color with no head. An aroma of black cherries, acetone, weak liqurice, sweets, winegums and black currant. A flavor of mocca, black currant, coffeee and weak prunes. anders37 (27621) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 27, 2011

I was blown away by this beer. It was so unique and different than anything I have ever tasted. Pours thick reddish with a light white bubbly head. Aroma was not as sour as expected, but it was a good mix of red wine, light sour citrus, strong light fresh barriers, sweet prunes, hint of vinegar, wood. Some quite strong aroma of undistinguished sort of spicy like notes, that for me just made this quite a unique beer. Full bodied with a soft carbonation and thick heavy and sticky texture. Heavy sweet and sour flavor. Lingering light sour fruity barriers with a touch of red wine like finish. I kind of agree with madsberg…this was a Duchesse de Bourgogne on acid….he he NosirIwont (2645) - Husum, DENMARK - NOV 21, 2010
Hand tapped on plastic bottle 2 weeks prior to tasting. Pours a dark reddish colour with no head. Aroma is complex; tart/sour; acetone; blackcurrant (wine gums). Feels a bit stale. Finish is a bit hard on the throat; quite sour; lots of alcohol and a decent amount of sugar/molasses. Seems a bit too much at first, but quickly learned to appreciate it. Overall this could be quite cloying, but the high alcohol presence made it pull through. Really nice. 25.09.10.

Draught. Low and fluffy white head. Very dark brown almost black body. Powerful cherries vinegar aroma. Dry yeasty powerful cherries flavor. Low carbonation, long bitter sour aftertaste. Christian (13930) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2010
Black with a small off-white head. Initial aroma of vinegar and acetone, but there are also notes of chocolate, red berries and fruit. Sweet fruity flavour with chocolate notes, giving way to vinegar tartness that becomes too overpowering. Certainly not perfect, but the beer has an interesting complexity to it.
