Bottle (#100 of 120)... Pours new moon black and sits that way in my glass with a mid-sized, creamy, beige head. Fantastic retention. The nose is roasted and nutty with notes of caramel, pistachios and milk chocolate. Medium to full-bodied with jazzy carbonation. The flavor is sweet, nutty and full of caramel and milk chocolate. Moderate acidity. Some soy sauce. Autolysis may be kicking in just a bit, but doesn’t really detract... yet. Thanks to plovmand for shipping this brew across the pond! hallinghansen (3411) - Odense SV, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2010

Black with a good tan head. Looks like an Amager impy, and we all know that’s a good thing. Jesus what an aroma. Cork, pickles, red wine, lots of barrel, some raw but adorable alcohol, playdough and utterly glorious malt. A fucking good smell. The flavour is equally brilliant but remarkably different. The red wine character comes right to the front. Really thick and creamy too. The sourness and barrel notes are just beautiful. Balanced as hell, nothing jumps out and takes centre stage, but it’s all singing the same tune. Epic malt, stunning calvodos notes and a brilliant sour hit in the finish. This one is all over the place but all together at the same time. Fantastic stuff. A fitting tribute to what is surely one of the best beer shops in the world.
Very dark brown look with a medium and dense brown head. Aroma has lots of sweet vinouse notes, wood, molasses and roasted malts. Flavor is quite sweet aswell with a heavy alchohol to back it up. Some bitter roasted notes aswell. All in all quite good. Plovmand (8597) - Grindsted, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2010
Bottle shared with hallinghansen. Pitch black with a longlasting creamy tan head leaving fantastic lacings. The aroma is very vinous, berries, roasted malt, hazzelnuts, caramel and chocolate. Very vinous flavour, longlasting bourbon, berries, fruit, light roasted malt, caramel and a light sour kick. Longlasting roasty finish. Great! faroeviking (11119) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - APR 24, 2010
Fløska. Deep dark brown almost black colour with a nice creamy well lasting brown head. Sweet roasty alco spiced chocolate woody aroma. Good soft filling mouthfeel indeed. Flavour of roasted malt, spices, alcohol, dark fruits, wood, and more alcohol. Well alsting finish, sweet and roasty maltiness with dark fruits and alcohol. Strange and with too much alco dominance. Appealing aroma of chocolate malts with some vapour of alcohol coming through. Anise and chocolate malts in flavour followed by bitter spices, tart fruits and notes of alcohol.
