Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 5, 2011
Bottle: Batch 100:
Thank you kindly sir Lassem!
A good and pretty vast medium brown head, changes slow into a good brown lacing, on top of a black beer.
Smell roasted coffee, lots of coffee, roasted (almost burned) malts, soft smooth liquorice, roasted wood, some toffee and alcohol all blended in a good mix. After a while the smell gets even better: even some dark fruits, dark sweet, flowers and peat that comes free.
Taste coffee, roasted wood, good bitter, liquorice wood, roasted coffee, roasted/buned oak, earth, light vanilla, peat, something light light whiskey-a-like and spices (guess it’s the alcohol).
The alcohol is present but in a good way, it spices up the beer and the sweetness seems to blend/vanish perfectly into a more spiced coffee bitter imperial stout.
Good bitter coffee light whiskey ish aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft light dry mouthfeel, full body and a creamy texture.
A damn good, spicy and smooth imperial stout. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 29, 2013
Bottle, 375ml corked. A gorgeous looking beer, more or less black in color and topped by a cute light tan head. The aroma has some alcohol and booze, with lots of roasted malts, coffee, some chocolate, a faint hint of lime, and some vanilla. It’s equally complex in the flavor, but I don’t think it’s equally wonderful. Still lovely though. Alcohol, roasted malts, coffee and some chocolate, vanilla and oak. Full-bodied, soft and pleasantly warming on the palate. Super-lasting finish with all the good things found in initially. A wonderul beer, that’s for sure. Pity I won’t be able to have it once more. 120525 MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2010

Black with a good tan head. Looks like an Amager impy, and we all know that’s a good thing. Jesus what an aroma. Cork, pickles, red wine, lots of barrel, some raw but adorable alcohol, playdough and utterly glorious malt. A fucking good smell. The flavour is equally brilliant but remarkably different. The red wine character comes right to the front. Really thick and creamy too. The sourness and barrel notes are just beautiful. Balanced as hell, nothing jumps out and takes centre stage, but it’s all singing the same tune. Epic malt, stunning calvodos notes and a brilliant sour hit in the finish. This one is all over the place but all together at the same time. Fantastic stuff. A fitting tribute to what is surely one of the best beer shops in the world.
Bottle. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is oak, citrus, vanilla, lime, bourbon, alcohol, hop. Flavour is oak, citrus, vanilla, lime, bourbon, alcohol, hop. Full body. Very nice beer. lassem (652) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2010
A beer from the brewers at Amager to celebrate Ølbutikkens five years. Nicely presentet in 37 cl champagne bottles with a simples nice green lable with five calk like lines that is just saying five. I always like the idea of making small batches of something nice to special events. >Cheers.
The pour is all black with a nice and firm cappochino dark crown that lasts. The nose is roasty with lot of malts and a dominating sourness as from heavy red wines. A lot of wood and some coffee topped with chocolate and a lot of spirits like in whiskey. The taste is strangely sour with a medium palate (it looks thicker) and a both a ligt sweetness and bitter finish. Again thefeeling of red wine dominates and alot of roastyness. Its different and actually interesting even though I wouldn’t call it balanced. The alcohol burnes your throat and the sweet malty and caramel like notes sweetens your tounge - but first of all you taste the sweet vinoes sourness. A good beer I deffently believe could get very interesting over the years - it allready is.
