Opaque black stout. Light chocolate nose. Light dry palate. Strong spirity stout. Tangy malt with repressed coffee. A strong hop presence comes through quickly and leaves a bitter aftertaste. A rich full on RIS.
Sehr malzig-cremiger Antrunk, ohne Alkoholnote. Intensiv ist das Bier vor allem im Mittelteil, besonders im Hintergrund agiert das aromatische Malz, welches hier einen grasigen Touch aufweist. Sehr angenehme Würzig, die eindeutig auf das Malz fixiert ist. Süßlich werdend, stark malzig, etwas kräuterartig, vollmundig im Abgang. Genießer-Bier! 11/13/12/13//13

lots of alcohol and floral booze notes in the aroma... mixed with wood, twigs and other things green, brown sugar, roast, cherry-like fruitiness and earthy dirty hops.

Bottle, RBWG 2010. Black body with a small dark brown head. Thick, heavy, and roasty nose with some moderate alcohol. The flavor is thick syrupy roast with some hearty chocolate. Fairly well hidden alcohol for almost 10% ABV. Thick full and chewy body with minimal soft carbonation. Another nice gem shared by TheCheeseMan.
