UPDATED: FEB 28, 2016 Aromat: sporo przyjemnych cytrusów i owoców tropikalnych.

Bottle (500 ml) at home. Batch #1169. BB 10/2016. Clear golden with a medium white head, moderate retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is of grapefruits as well as loads of cedar-like spiciness, piney notes, green peas and mild caramel-ish notes. Taste is not much sweet or boozy, there’s loads of grapefruits and pine along cedar-like spiciness, a solid but not overpowering malt backbone and medium bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. Resinous and grapefruits finish. It’s the third consecutive day I try an Amager IPA and again I have to say I’m impressed by how well they are doing after their trip through Atlantic. This one isn’t too heavy despite the 7% abv and the fact the aromatics have faded. It’s quite resinous, spicy and grapefruits forward but still the balance isn’t bad at all. Good stuff.

Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is slightly dank, grassy with some overripe stonefruits. Taste starts sweet and fruity but gets quickly bitter and dank with some chives, lovage and dill. Body is medium with a good amount of carbonation. Aftertaste is quite bitter. Quite nice, dank IPA overall.

Had with Matt at home after Tuk Tuk Thai. Cloudy orange-tan, moderate white creamy medium bubbly head, streaky wet lacing. Smells of moderate toasted corn malt, heavy pith and heavy resin hop, faint pepper. Taste is massively bitter, huge heavy resin, moderate lemon/orange, light spice. Body is medium, slick but citric and a bit frothy, resin bitter slightly stony finish. Huge beer, very tasty. Lots of resinous bitterness esp. in the taste.

Bottle from Craftissimo at home after KL. Slightly orange-amber/golden pour with dense white bubbly head. Aroma is bright bitter orange with pine hops. A little sweet malt underneath. Taste is very very bitter, a big grapefruit pith bite that tingles on the roof of mouth. Boozy warmth complements that on the finish. Really bitter but delicious. Bigger and boozier than I expected. Would definitely get again.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Hoppiness Crew. Pours cloudy deep golden color with large soapy off-white head, good lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, pine, mild caramel, herbs and flowers. Taste starts with light sweet biscuity malt, following is resinous and fruity, mainly citric, mouth feel is rather dry, while finish is heavy bitter with long aftertaste. Light to medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Unbalanced with bold hop character, but that’s just the way I like it...

7.2%ABV. IPA. Poured out a rich Amber. 10ºSRM. Nose has candied orange, Mandarin orange, marmalade, orange blossom. Mouthfeel is soapy. There is a fair amount of carbonation to lift this one to drinkability. There carbonation then the you get to appreciate the grain bill for a bit with flavors of roasted barley, graham cracker, pie crust, oatmeal cookies, deeply browned wheat toast, caramel, burnt sugar, and then the full on hop assault comes on. Hops flavors are characterized by pine, sap, resin, Brussels sprouts, hyssop, grass, raw kale, and maybe even a little hemp funk. The finish is bitter and long. An aggressively executed hop head’s idea of paradise. It’s like they took a Batch 1000 and added 30% more hops into the boil and decided to dry-hop it as well just for good measure. Goes on Favorites List!

0,5lt bottle @ Valentin - Curious Bierkneipe, Volos, Greece NOTE: The best west coast IPA I had so far. A beer with nice carbonation, a beautiful bunch of citrus that screams from the aroma already and a dry bitter finish. Full bodied and a lir of foam that lasts
