COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Amager Rye Porter is the result of fruitful cooperation between the best of Danish and American brewing cultures. It’s base is made of hard roasted malts and 16% rye. It adds a fantastic sweetness, and a titillating spicy edge, which, combined with a subtle and balanced acidity, is reminiscent of rye bread. This is not a beer for the weak, we’re pleased with the outcome and hope you will be too

Bottle from the local taphouse shop. Exceptional, nice spicy notes. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, vanilla, notes of liquorice, chilli. Taste is sweet and bitter, with very long length. Palate is creamy, spicey, and full bodied. Black, with a frothy head.

Trump! This brew is very special indeed. From the rich aromatics of chocolate to the density of body which lays across my tongue like melted cocoa with perfectly creamy carbonation. This brew is incredible. I would’nt say the rye portion was noticeable in an obvious way but I’m sure without it the balance on this very chocolate malt forward brew would not exist. The finish lingers forever. Despite this brew richness it is very drinkable. Do yourself a favor and try this sometime. You won’t regret it.
