3,5% alkohol.

ENGLISH: We wanted to prove that we could make a low alcohol beer rich in taste... and we named the outcome "Fusion". As the name indicates it is a true fusion beer due to the fact that our inspiration came from different styles and countries. The yeast is classic German pilsner yeast, which we - against its will, fermented at 71.6F. This is a technique know from the American styles "California Common" a.k.a. "Steam Beer". Consequently, we were able to combine the crisp freshness from lager beers with a portion of the fruity freshness found in top fermented beers.
Our choice of malt is somewhat unusual as we selected an English Mild Ale malt adding a dark, roasted character to the beer, as well as a couple of handful of German caramel malt adding sweetness and a soft touch to the beer.
And it wouldnt be a true beer from Amager Bryghus, if we hadnt been generous with the hops. We chose classic American aroma hops such as Centennial, Chinook, and Amarillo - you know, the ones which really massages your taste buds. Additionally, these hops leave behind the most pleasurable, citric-like freshness.
Are you confused? No reason to be as our Fusion is the answer to the many people who over the years have asked for an American/English/German top and bottom fermented pilsner ale, which has lots of taste but is low on alcohol!
Fusion was 1st runner up at the Copenhagen Beer Festival 2007 in the competition of brewing a beer at maximum 3.5% alcohol.

undated but newish looking and cold stored 500 ml bottle served in a pilsner glass. Murky sediment at the bottle fo the bottle not poured. Cap had a solid seal. A: Clear orange-amber body with lots of small bubbles flowing upward.to a generous, durable off-whit head. Smell: uh-oh - smells contaminated. May well be wild yeast but this is supposed to be brewed with classic German pilsner yeast. Taste: not much better, and with a distinct sourness. M: Nice medium-light body with ample but soft carbonation. O: contaminated bottle; will revisit if the opportunity arises.

Taste- A unique flavor that propelled by its high carbonation. has a strong hops flavor Palate- very carbonated, medium bodied beer Overall- no a bad beer at all, I have never seen this before so I am assuming it is a hard beer to find in the southeastern US.

500ml bottle, thanks to phaleslu. I received this bottle 2 days ago, with 1/4 of it gone, and the cap resealed. I was concerned about the condition of the bottle and doubtful itd be worth rating, but when I popped it open just now, a surprising amount of pressure was released from the bottle, this cap had an impressive seal... Who ever recapped this did a pretty good job. Im choosing to take notes here for my own record-keeping purposes... Totally hazy amber orange color, with a good finger of off-white head. Impressive-looking. Still quite carbonated, tastes like a fresh bottle. Im pretty shocked at how nicely this has held up. Leaves nice, thicker lace. Medium body, pretty full feel for the low ABV. Kind of fluffy. Mild caramel malt, doughy breadiness, light spiciness in the flavor, some fruity hops to it. Good balanced taste -- moderate bitter, moderate sweet. Really impressive, tasty, full-flavored, full-bodied stuff, especially for the low alcohol. Cant figure out what Im more impressed by -- the re-cap job, or the beer itself. Never had a 2+ day old beer that tasted this good, cant tell at all that this was opened already. Kind of mind-blowing for me, really, I thought for sure that this would be flat and unrateable... Impressive in how it drinks like a 5% beer. Doesnt seem to be lacking in any area. Kind of a mildly belgian-type pilsner aspect here. Dont mind it. Particularly impressive due to the ABV.

Bottle enjoyed at home
Light copper, some haze, big beige head. Smell of tropical fruits, peach, some perfume, yeast esters and malts. Moderate sweet, quite fruity with tropical fruits, fruit peel and peach. Medium bitter finish, resins and fruit peel. Quite enjoyable stuff; far away from the more plain steamers ive tried
