COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: a special made for the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013.

English: We’ve been playing around with quite a lot of double mashing lately. Most of this Barley Wine is right now peacefully aging on port wine barrels. But we were curious to try it’s pure incarnation before any barrel aging, so we kegged a little, just for you. This beer was not named after a movie but after a rock album. Do you know which?

mcberko (19803) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 8, 2013
On tap at CBC, pours a fairly clear bronze with a small beige head. Aroma of stone fruits, caramel, and some slight liqueur notes. Flavour brings out complex notes of stone fruits, caramel and moderate booze. Very fruity and caramely -- quite complex. Well-balanced without any jagged edges. Excellent.
