COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

On tap at Au Trappiste. Wonderful DIPA. Golden colour, some head. Aroma is very resiny and hoppy, dominated by west coast hops. Pine and resin dominate the aroma clearly, a bit boozy too. Flavour is way more complex, mouthfeel already starts this off as heavy and thick. Flavour itself is also very resiny and piney but is followed by also fruity and herbal notes. Finishes dry but long, with a lingering hoppy-herbal note. Wonderful.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Ines Stube I don’t think I’ll find an Amager beer that I won’t like...

Tap @ Six Roses, Lille - FR. Color: hazy golden blond beer with small carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: fruity hops with mango and peach notes. Caramel and grassy notes. Taste: medium body with good malt backbone, well balanced with fruity hops and huge resin blast. High attenuation. Aftertaste: high dry bitterness, huge pine and resin attack. Good bitterness. Well done.

Tap. Aroma- more, mainly diesel-like, with delicate tropical fruits. Golden, a bit hazy with low head. Taste- quite dry, but with fruity notes. A bitterness is very short-lasting, but solid. Easy-drinking. Nice Imperial IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2016 Mein bestes IIPA bisher. HEISSS!!!!!

Bottle. Pours a lovely golden colour with a white foamy head. Grapefruit, peach, caramel, citrus herbs and orange in the aroma. Nice palate, medium body and medium carbonation with a long, long bitter finish. Flavour is clearly bitter, lot’s of grapefruit, citrus and zest. Wonderful beer.
