COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Eructoblaster (4305) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 26, 2016
Bottle - 500ml. Beautiful hazy, golden/orange body with an average white foamy/creamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with mango, orange, and herbal hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Its robust hoppy taste carries citrusy, herbal, and some subtle woody notes. Ends with a long, warming, bittersweet finish. Very enjoyable.

Turtles (2843) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 10, 2016
500ml bottle from Ølbutikken. Hazy golden, white lacing head. Hoppy aroma, citrus, grapefruit, marzipan, resin and herbs. Smooth, oily mouthfeel, mild carbonated. Earthy, resinous and citrus hoppy, marzipan, sweet tropical fruity, pineapple, canned peach, caramel, herbal and great pleasant pine bitterness. Resinous finish with zesty bitterness.

Big sweet DIPA, heavy on caramel, sticky juicy, pine, with a reasonably subdued bitterness. Really good.

One of the best DIPA ever tasted! Golden color with big white head. Aroma is hoppy, caramel, malts, fresh, piney, citrus. Taste is caramel, bittersweet, hoppy, citrus. Medium body with medium carbonation and a long long bitter aftertaste. A world class!

W nosie ananas, mango, słodkie aromaty kwiatów, żywica, sosna, siano. Barwa jasno bursztynowa, piwo jest klarowne, piana gęsta, drobna i wysoka. W smaku mnóstwo owoców tropikalnych (ananas, mango, liczi) i żywicy, dodatkowo grejpfrut, plus sporo toffi. Goryczka wysoka, żywiczna. Piwo w ustach jest pełne, kremowe wręcz oleiste, alkohol doskonale ukryty. Świetna podwójna IPA. Butelka do 02/2017.

BlackHaddock (7515) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2016
9th July 2016. Can shared at Rosses I Torrades with the RBESG guys. Hazy golden amber pour, weak white head. Lots going on in the nose and taste with various hops vying for domination. Piney, fruity and bitter it hit the spot for me.

Maakun (6083) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUL 12, 2016
Bottle at Rosses i Torrades. hazy golden with small white head that leaves a nice film. Dry skunky hops, sweet caramel and marzipan, green leaves, very herbal. Very bitter and medium sweet. Over medium bodied. Not a bad beer but also not really my thing.

Psytron (2426) - Turku, FINLAND - JUL 11, 2016
Smell of hops, mango, spruce. Cloudy orange/amber colour, high cream-coloured head. Aroma of spruce, hops, herbs, some soap. Very bitter. Plentiful but soft carbon. Oily texture, semi-heavy body. Great double IPA, but lacking some edge.

Casper0904 (445) - DENMARK - JUN 22, 2016
Hoppy, citrusy aroma, grapefruit, pineapple, some lychee - all very strong and nice. In taste dry, lightly sweet and very fruity - following the aroma. Finish is bitter and not that sweet and sometimes IIPAs tend to. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, alcohol hidden. Very fruity and tasty beer
