English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Draught. Hoppy, citrusy aroma, grapefruit, pineapple, some lychee - all very strong and nice. In taste dry, lightly sweet and very fruity - following the aroma. Finish is bitter and not that sweet and sometimes IIPAs tend to. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, alcohol hidden. Very fruity and tasty beer.

Very good beer, amora of caramel malt, bread, hop resin and floral. Color amber orange, cloudy and taste bitter with thin texture.

Cristal clear, dark golden color. Massive white head, not super frothy though. Great lacing. Beautiful hoppy fruity and citrusy aroma. Full of grapefruit, pineapple, a bit of mango. There’s almost no malty notes, which is quite surprising in IIPA, but smells great. Suggest dry, west coast style IPA. And that is how it taste. Super dry, very fruity, hoppy, with massive bitterness in the back end and in the aftertaste. Great mouthfeel, although it’s completely different than typical IIPA. Has almost no body but it’s still super smooth and soft. Medium maybe even low carbonation. Feels great. I wonder how fresh is my bottle, can it be even better if it would be a bit fresher. Hope it’s in its best condition and age, since the alcohol is almost not possible to noticed. It even doesn’t warm the throat. Amazing beer.

Just delicious one. Brilliant aroma of tropical fruit with citrus. Fills almost whole room. Such intensity I wish every IPA. Bitterness was countered perfectly creating a very balanced beer. Profile of tropical fruit mixed with resin. The whole creates a perfect combination.

McWorta (1627) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 11, 2016
Light opalescent, smooth off white head, excellent lacings. Aromas of butterscotch (diacetyl), light blossom, honey, fruit-potpouri, some lychee, orange, ripe peach. Finely carbonated, a bit slick, pronounced yet surprisingly slender body. Light butterscotch sweetness building up a solid fruity piney-lime hop bitterness with harmonic astringency. Lasting finish, hides its abv well. Feels a bit like eating through a hop farm.

Bottle. Great aroma: fruits, hops, porto and nectar. Taste: still very juicy and fruity, light sweetness, mango and grapefruit, pleasant hop bitterness.

This one is simply delicious. A lot of bitterness, woody aroma, citrus aroma countered with caramel sweetness. This is what I’m looking for in double IPA.

vami (455) - Poznan, POLAND - FEB 25, 2016
Great aroma from the very first sniff. Then it only gets better. Pours hazy yellow with white head. The alcohol is well hidden. Lots of tropical fruits in the aroma and taste. Very drinkable due to low carbonation and thin to medium body.
