English: We asked our smartass marketing director what beer would be a good choice for the sin of Greed. He only pondered for a sec and then said: We should simply do as all the big players do: make a cheapass beer and sell it at a premium prize thats greed for you alright. Our marketing director is a smart guy, so of course we did what he said. We even put a picture of him on the label. The beer however turned out pretty badass. Its a straight up German Pilsener without any fuss. Dig it we do.
Were not proud to be sinners, but at least were open about it

Brewed from pilsener malts, Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrh hops and a Southern German lager yeast.

McWorta (1560) - LUXEMBOURG - DEC 9, 2015
Crystal clear, bright and crisp sunny yellow/blond (4EBC) at first becoming opalescent at second pour. Offers a fine poring pillowy white head, good lacings with a light viscousity. Aromas of green grass, fresh straw, herbal-earthy notes dominate, yet a light floralness and touches of wet autumn leaves appear. Fine carbonation with a smooth texture and a slender body. Crisp sweetness upfront with a harmonic grassy/herbal bitterness developping offering a light astringent spike to it. The finish is light bitter-dry and linear - a thirst quencher.

Achel (409) - Ioannina, GREECE - NOV 25, 2015
Hazy gold beer with a decent white head. Palate is crisp and dry. Minerals. Dry malt. Peppery spice. Little citrus and dry seltzer. Dry finish. Dull and dry. Really wants something more to bring it alive.

DraftDodger (1226) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 21, 2015
Copenhagen 21/8 2015. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsens Vinhandel. Greedy fellow caressing hops on the label. Pours pale yellow and slightly hazy with white head. Settles slowly to 1 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is of citrus and slightly chemical buttery notes. Medium carbonation. Flavour is rather sweet. Malts and honey combined with a light bitterness. Rather short aftertaste. They try a slightly ironic take on the label with "We should make a cheap-ass beer and sell it at a premium prize". Unfortunately all too true.

Bottle. Golden, medium hazy with big, white head. Good lacing, medicore head retention. Light malty (bready) aroma. Light bitter, watery, light bodied. In general not my favourite style, but it should be better.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 7C). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 997. AROMA: almost absent hop aroma with notes of some diacetyl and a pinch of background DMS and acetaldehyde. Overall background of grainy and slight sweet malt. APPEARANCE: pale gold color and very slightly hazy. moderate creamy white head with average persistance. TASTE: overall malty-sweet and grainy flavour. imperceptible hop notes. some background DMS and diacetyl. very low bitterness with an almost sweet finish. PALATE: medium to medium-low body with a slight texture form diacetyl. OVERALL: a very nice keller version but without much hop presence.

Gulbrun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter sitron, korn, lvetann og litt papp. Medium fylde p denne "pilsneren" i flge Amager. Stlig noe honning, lett fruktig. Kort lett bitter avsluttning.

jmgreenuk (8435) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUL 1, 2015
Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is light sweet malt. The flavour is light bitter with a smooth watery malt, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Rather poor. No different to those American mass produced malt liqours that we love to hate.

50 cl bottle. Batch #997. BBE 03/2016.
Pours pale golden color with a large head. Very grainy aroma, dried fruits, some hay and maybe a tad of malts. Harsh bitterness on the palate, grassy and grainy flavor, some very subtle herbal notes, slick finish. A simple grainy brew.

SinH4 (3729) - Garching b. Mnchen, GERMANY - APR 20, 2015
Hazy yellow color with small white head. Aroma of grains and grass. Keller-like, a bit. Light and bready, grass hops, bitter finish. Definitely a Kellerbier, but with a Pils hopping. A bit boring. Below Amagers standards.
